“Unique, beautiful place with true warmth and soul.”
Reviewed August 22, 2012

We stayed at Easby Hall for our wedding anniversary and felt truly privileged to share this beautiful home with the owners, Karen and John. Everything about Easby Hall is just exceptional, including the friendliness and warmth of Karen and John who have obviously put their heart and soul into renovating the house and gardens.
The care and attention to detail is obvious in every aspect of this beautiful place, from the luxurious furnishings in every room to providing a fridge stocked with fresh milk and water and a tea tray which included home made cake.
Oh, and the breakfast....well it was simply the best we have ever had..a veritable banquet! So much choice, from home made conserves and compote to fresh fruit from the garden and a full traditional english breakfast (lovingly prepared by Alma a lovely lady who helps Karen), served in a room with a log fire. Amazing!
Haven't mentioned the setting.....breathtaking. You just have to go and experience it, words don't seem enough.
The final romantic touch, we dined out for dinner and returned to a room bathed in candlelight.
How utterly perfect.
That is Easby Hall. Perfect.
We have already planned to return.

Room Tip: All the rooms are amazing. The Abbey room has breathtaking views.

We stayed at Easby Hall for 2 nights. The accommodation is incredibly well done - newly renovated, large period rooms, very comfy king size beds and little touches such as fresh milk for tea/ coffee and Moulton Brown products in the bathrooms (most of which have free-standing baths and rainfall showers).

The house itself is stunning, with log fires and a grand staircase, but the owners make you feel very at home. Breakfast was of a superb quality - yoghurts with homemade cereals and fruit compotes, smoked salmon, choice of full English, freshly squeezed juice. We also had an evening meal where all the vegetables and salads came freshly picked that day from the kitchen garden.

The setting is perfect - a 20 minute stroll along the river into Richmond, and the views over the Abbey are stunning.

Very highly recommended.

We had the most wonderful stay at Easby Hall. It was also our wedding venue. Everything about it - the standard of accommodation, the owners, the views, the food, the grounds - was amazing! We would highly recommend a stay here - relaxing luxury in the perfect location. We will definitely be going back.

We booked all the guest accommodation for a family gathering. The quality is impeccable, the views are unsurpassable, and the food is exquisitely presented and tasty. We also pre booked an evening meal so most of the ingredients were picked freshly just before cooking- the flavours were wonderful. Fabulous gardens and the winter hut with its own fire place is divine.
We would definitely recommend to anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion whilst making the most of the natural beauty of the surrounding area.

Room Tip: all rooms unique in style and presentation. The Abbey room overlooks the Abbey ruins and church so h...
