“A very happy holiday”
Reviewed July 4, 2018 for a stay in July 2018

Birch's Barn is well equipped and very comfortable. Keith is very welcoming and helpful. Food was ready for us which was an extra unexpected perk. A quiet part of the beautiful county of Kent and so many places to visit.

“Long weekend break”
Reviewed May 3, 2018 for a stay in April 2018

Comfortable and well equipped holiday let. Keith, the owner, is very hospitable and the welcome pack he provided was superb. (We have stayed at many holiday lets across the country and this was without doubt the best welcome pack we have encountered.) Only drawbacks were the weather and the vast number of potholes in Kent's roads!!! Not a lot Keith could do about either.

“Warmest of welcomes”
Reviewed July 31, 2016 for a stay in July 2016

This is a very well appointed holiday let, spacious and comfortable. Everything you could need is to hand, and the very pleasant and friendly owner was keen to ensure our stay was successful. The location is convenient for visiting Ashford, Canterbury and the coast, and is close enough to the motorway to ensure easy access while still being rural and quiet. The generosity of the welcome pack is remarkable, and reflects the kindly nature of the owner. Great stay.

“Recommended”
Reviewed May 30, 2016 for a stay in May 2016

We (couple, child, toddler and mother-in-law) stayed at the Barn for 4 days in May and would recommend it highly.
The area is quiet and secluded, but has good links to motorway and in particular Dymchurch Beach. Rare Breeds Centre is also ten minutes away and very good for children.
The Barn was very spacious and particualrly good for young family. Bedrooms were equiped with towels & toiletries, living room with games and DVDs and the fridge was stocked with Egg, Bacon etc. and a cake (which was a kind touch).
The owners were available, very approachable and not at all intrusive which was perfect.

“Beautiful hidden spot with perfect hosts.”
Reviewed October 26, 2015 for a stay in October 2015

Very generous and hospital place, great stay for all kinds of excursions: only 10 minutes away from Ashford International Station (40 minutes to London, for just 25pds/person including London Transport), not far away from such great spots like Canterbury or Hever Castle, and just 45 minutes drive to the seaside.
The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful, we found a fridge full of splendid food (B&B).
And: we thoroughly enjoyed the quietness of the place.
