Have driven past many times on our way through to Orbost but this time we stopped for lunch. Lovely modern building, access for all mobility types. Plenty of parking. Large outside deck for warmer weather, half undercover overlooking Bruthen Valley. Booking ahead advised on weekends or events such as Paella feast. Light airy dining room set next to brewing area, visible through large glass windows. Tables are far enough apart for private conversation. Toilets in building. Staff know their stuff and very pleasant. Beers available by the 4 taste paddle or by the glass, cider and wine also available. Good coffee. We began with the soup, large bowls of Sweet Potato and Corn Chowder...delicious and hot, came with toasted Sour Dough bread. Then we shared a Pizza, we chose the Smoked Chicken, Blue Cheese and Onion Jam and it was the BEST Pizza we have ever had, it was a small dinner plate size and filled us up perfectly after the soup. Coffee to round out the meal (mine Decaf). This place is a wonderful find for us, no wonder every other time we have driven past it always looked busy. Bought a sample pack of 6 longneck beers and a beautiful coffee table book The Breweries of Australia. Total $136.40. Will be back.

Busy place, on a summers day would be lovely on the deck overlooking the area. On a sunny mid-winter day it was a bit cold, even inside, as we were placed near the back door through which everyone who parked in the car-park entered. It was very busy, and for more than two people advisable to book in advance.

Service was great; food was wonderful, fresh, hot, served fairly quickly. We both had pizza (a smokey chicken and a meaty one, good value at $16 each) - lovely crust, lots of toppings, really very tasty. Himself had the tasting paddle of four beers and I had a local Gippsland sauvignon blanc - both very good.

Excellent value, would highly recommend, and would go back if in the area again.

two couples for dinner on a cold and wet July night. Great little find in Bruthen,
Menu whilst not extensive, had some wonderful choices. Our group loved the seafood chowder and curry. (a heat wish rating was offered to us )
The beers were great, I had the tasting plate of a four brew selection....loved them all.
Service prompt and friendly....the wood heater struggled a bit to keep the place warm, however we seated right next to it!
atmosphere was ok, I prefer a warmer type than the modern style used here, however all was good.
Will come back, probably a better lunchtime venue for me.
I would recommend a visit.

Great micro brewery beers, would recommend the beer tasting paddle. Helpful, friendly service. Busy at weekends, try your luck but best to book. Food was decent, with room for improvement, but having said that their chips are the best I've ever tasted! Worth a visit if you're in the area.
