This is a very comfortable cottage, freshly decorated with a full range of modern equipment, good beds and bath, matching crockery etc. The constraints of size and layout mean that the only place to eat is the small breakfast bar in the kitchen - but this is perfectly workable. As with so many houses in the Highlands and Islands, it is worth noting that the midges like to congregate just outside the door to the property - so you have been warned!
I stayed with a colleague for a work trip. The owners were excellent hosts - helpful but not intrusive. The furnishing is comfortable and the house is clean and airy. Plenty of space for a little cottage and very warm and cozy as you open the door. Friendly neighbours too. The kitchen is well stocked with baking trays, clingfilm, foil etc. The lounge has plenty of lamps and shelves. Dogs welcome, which was lovely. Our old boy loved the beaches.
Be aware that firewood costs a fair penny for import to the island and has to be charged highly for the fun of the wood burner. Also, the internet is not unlimited and electricity allowance is generous but not unlimited. Make sure you read the manual on arrival. Bring bathroom tissue as only one roll is provided!
