“Mid week treat”
Reviewed September 22, 2013

We eat at The Three Horseshoes last Wednesday and found it to be extremely good value for money. This is the first time we have tried the Wednesday special and I had White bait for a starter and Liver and bacon for main course. It all tasted great, and there was more than enough as I really struggled to finish every thing. Another plus point for the Three Horseshoes is that they always keep a good pint and again this time the real ale was spot on. A credit to them as all bar one table was occupied, no mean feat for a mid week. We will be eating here again.

“Don't be put off by the weeds!”
Reviewed September 7, 2013

Staying nearby in our caravan, we spotted the Wednesday Special of three courses for £10 - though needed backup from other campers to think it worth a try. Very good value - we had pate, pork loin and lamb, lemon meringue - all well cooked and very acceptable. Sat outside in the sunshine and watched the world go by - and yes, the exterior could do with a bit of a tidy up though the shrub growing out of the roof made a good photo. We liked the Tree Horseshoes - and at that price ? Terrific.

“My favourite local pub”
Reviewed August 28, 2013

The three horse shoes is one of my favourite local pubs. The food is always good with big portions and excellent value for money. All the staff and regulars are friendly and keen to help with any questions or cater to any special requirements. Food is what you'd expect for a pub. Eating outside is highly recommended as Cenarth is such a beautiful place.

“Awful!”
Reviewed June 1, 2013

Cramped and scruffy bar area, bleak greasy spoon style eating area. We were handed sticky lamenated one page menu's with a small variety of 90's style pub meals, hunter's chicken, scampi etc. everything came with chips and peas. Small selection of specials not much better. Small uninspiring desert menu.
Kids menu small though not bad value but food poor.
Overall not good value for money, even if you can find somebody to pay at the end, which we struggled to do.
From now on will be known as the three horse poos. Sorry.

“Quaint and friendly”
Reviewed May 24, 2013

Nice olde worlde ambience with very good traditional pub food. A convenient stopping place en route or when visiting Cenarth itself, which is very interesting.
