This is a very good Hotel. Very nice and attentive staff, large and very clean rooms. Facilities include a nice swimming pool. Breakfast and dinner at the restaurant were also excellent. Wifi ok. The hotel has also a nice reception area (you can buy some gifts too) and lobby.

I stayed here for 1 week in May 2009 with my husband while he was there on business. (Unfortunately tripadvisor does not let me choose 2009 under 'date of stay'...). We stayed in a balcony room overlooking a grassy area with some trees. Room was very average...the room was a little tired looking and dated, but was clean. Service people were friendly enough when I interacted with them and tended to keep to themselves. There were a certain number of bottled waters available for free daily...I overshot my limit everyday though since I was pregnant at the time and needed lots of water in the heat/humidity and paid the small extra amount for additional water.

Grounds were nice in a wild-unkempt sort of way... You can tell at the beginning of this hotel's inception, this would have been a beautiful hotel, but as with the rooms...the upkeep of the grounds looks as though it has fallen behind.

I did take a dip in the pool one afternoon and found the pool smelling like bleach (your typical household bleach)...I immediately got out, thinking how strange it was...but I guess could be something they do here... Looks like a nice pool though if it weren't for the bleach smell (and no, it wasn't your typical pool-chlorine smell).

The one thing I really loved about this hotel was the Japanese restaurant on the grounds!! Loved the food! My husband and I had lived in Japan for a year so this immediately took me back to eating in Japan. I still think about that restaurant because the food was so good!

The hotel (main cafe buffet restaurant) food was average... some selections of the food were better than others.

To sum it up... the Japanese restaurant was amazing... rest of the hotel and amenities were average ...and the pool was poor because of the bleach smell.

Cute resort. Trying to be 4 star, but not quite there. However, there is NO competition in the area. If you want to be in this part of Thailand, this is your choice. Staff tries really hard to please, with lots of smiles. My balcony room was 2100 Baht per night (about $65 USD) - really good value for the price.

I was here on business nearby for only 2 days. This is an industrial area, developing fast. Lots of Japenese manufacturers, among others from all over the world. The hotel staff speaks a few words of English, but definitely not fluent. On the positives - the grounds and architecture are beautiful. It's on a big plot of land in the countryside, set way back from the main road. There is a nice pool and a lake behind the property. There is a small golf driving range on the property, and lots of space to walk around.

There is a bar in the lobby, and a restaurant. Food prices are really cheap - main dishes are about $3 - $6 USD. Food was good, but a little spicy (to be expected). Wine is around $20 USD for a basic table wine - evidently it's all imported. If you stay away from wine, you can dine for around $10-15 USD for a full meal.

They do traditional Thai massages in the sports club for about $10 USD, or in your room for about $12 USD for a 1-2 hour massage. The staff is well trained and they really work your muscles. Relaxing atmosphere with A/C, soft music, and they bring you a cup of tea after the first hour.

Room was a good size. About 5-6 English-speaking channels on the TV. Wireless Internet is available for 200 Baht/day (about $6 USD). Not exactly high speed, but it gets the job done. Room was clean, but a few small ants in the bathroom. Reasonably priced mini-bar. Bed was a little unusual feeling, but comfortable for a good night's sleep. A/C couldn't quite cool down to the ~21C that I like at night, but this was June, and it was hot outside, even at night. Room temp was about 25C when I went to bed, but it was OK.
