I went with a friend and spent one night in one of the national park's houses. Make sure you have strong legs if you would like to visit the top level of the waterfalls. The way up there is not that difficult but steep. If not, you can also enjoy the waterfalls at the lower levels, which are beautiful as well. Went there in December. Quite crowded, but not too bad. You can also stay in tents. They have tents and sleeping bags for rental.

Nice waterfall, I can swim inside natural pool. For hotest day, it is so wonderful. If you come to this place, you should prepare clothes for change in case you want to swim. However, you may only walking trail as there are 7 tiers that waiting to challenge you.

Erawan is located near Kanchanaburi , about 1.30 hours by bus, bus ticket costs 50baht for one way , first bus departure is 8.00 am then 8.55 then 9.50 for the early morning bus , last bus leaves from erawan at 5.00pm ! It was an amazing experience , we enjoyed swimming in 4 out of 7 of the waterfalls! The only thing is Be aware of monkeys !

If you want to climb to 7th floor of the Erawan Water Falls , I advice you should come early in the morning because of less people to walk up . And you can walk down to relax and swim in the fresh water . Please come on the good time you will meet the good place for relax.

Erawan National Park is a beautiful place where visitors can either sit and relax at one of the first levels (where most of the people stops for food and swimming) or keep going for a long, and sometimes challenging, hike to the last level. On the first two levels visitors are allowed to bring foods and drinks and will find plenty of restrooms. Before the third level visitors will be asked to leave food and drinks with a member of the staff or, in alternative, visitors can take the drinks with them paying a 20 Baht deposit for each plastic bottle they wish to carry.
I appreciate they don't allow food and drinks after the second level as many people are unconsidered and it's quite easy to spot litter on the first two levels.
I recommend a minimum of 2 hours to enjoy the park and a minimum of 3 hours to hike up to the 7th level (starting and finishing at the car park).
