Was in resort from 15 to 17 dec. place was quiet n relaxing. Breeze all do long but sometimes rain early in the morning as rain season during year end now they have newly renovated rooms for family n couples to. Dining in was fantastic n reasonably priced as dining area was done up tastefully. N The best ambience dining experience in Sichon. Unforgettable. Place to come to relax.

Lived for 20 years in hong kong. Thailand at least 2 times each year. This time 2 months. Just had the worst meal of the trip here. The east coast is definitely the poor cousin of the west coast of south Thailand which may or may not be justified. Certainly there are some great spots but the water is not as clean. We really wanted to enjoy khanom and sichon and after two good days in khanom drove down the road to Sichon. If you can't hear hear the banjos in khanom they are playing loud and clear in sichon! We were staying at Prasarnsook resort but chose sichon cabanas to eat as it looked nicer and they have put more effort into their restaurant. They have a great spot on the beach. But it was a mistake. A few dishes we ordered were lost in translation and you can't help that but even the ones that weren't were bad. The "spicy pork on sizzling plate" was neither spicy or sizzling and was just awful. We paid up without eating anymore and left. Mind you, there's not much choice elsewhere in sichon. Drive back to khanom if you need a good feed, but even then...
