Owner description: This is yet another site which I am amazed that you do not yet have a listing for!!!! It is a 10th c. Byzantine Monastery with the "remains" of "Holy Luke"., a great healer of the 10th c. which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and etc., etc. When you list it on your site, I will write a review of a visit here (which was astounding!!)

“Spiritual and historical”
Reviewed September 27, 2013

A worthy place to visit for any number of reasons: spritual, historical, architectural, or even just a quiet place to vacate. It was cool and lightly raining when I visited the grounds and the church. Definitely worth a visit in the area.

“Worth a visit”
Reviewed April 17, 2013

The monastery is located in the hills of Greece near Delphi. It's a quaint little monastery worth a visit. There were a few tour buses that brought groups here, but if you've got a car and have a couple hours stop by for a quick tour.

They have organic olive oil they make to support the monastery. We noticed that on the day we were there that the large tour buses were gone around 2pm, not sure if this is always the case though.

“Don't miss”
Reviewed April 16, 2013

On the way to Delfi if you drive a car and not in a hurry it is worth to leave the main road and visit this interesting monastery. The surrounding country is beautiful and it is also a great place to take a break.
