What a beautiful place! We stopped here for a few short days on our month of travels throughout New Zealand. Absolute quiet and wonderful experience. Our host and hostess are Fran and Ian Farrant who make your stay even more lovely than ever expected. We were treated to amazing cuisine as Fran runs a cooking school. Fran even had us in the kitchen after dinner helping make souffles which were divine. This is the perfect place to stay when you are visiting the forest to view the giant trees. Waipoua Lodge has everything that you would ever want or need and the hospitality is beyond description! What a wonderful stay we had with amazing people. Don't think twice as you will be treated to memories that you will treasure for a lifetime. Enjoy a part of the country that has been restored with loving thought and hard work and sleep like a baby in elegant comfort.
