Bill was a wonderful evening guide for an amazing, unique experience. HIGHLY recommend this; it adds so much cultural environmental and spiritual history and flavor.

“A unique experience!”

What a wonderful way to explore the Waipoua Forest and the Kauri trees. The guides were great and we learned such a lot from them about local tradition. This experience is a must!

“Awesome experience”
Reviewed March 29, 2014

The twilight excursion into the forest was extremely moving. The two Maori ladies who led the group were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They paid great respect to the plants, the birds and the magnificent trees. The "Father of the forest" is the oldest known kauri tree (3000-4000 years old) in the world and an awesome sight, not to be missed.

“A very special experience you don't want to miss”
Reviewed March 28, 2014 via mobile

We were with Mere and Nataleah this evening and they took us on an amazing journey. They shared their cultural stories and they explained factual information about Kauri trees and other trees in the forest. We learned a great deal, and enjoyed ourselves very much, but what shined through it all was their passion and commitment. They were excellent guides and amazing women.
