We actually stayed in June 2010 and can truely say can't wait to go again. Each room is unique with enormous attention to detail of the theme to that room. It is such a beautiful experience to stay here. Pierrette is amazing and makes you feel very welcome. Usually other guests are from different countries and Pierrette will speak to each in there own language. The breakfasts are a gourmet treat, while the the plates and dishes are gorgeous. The garden is so fabulous it is a pleasure to sit outside and soak it all in. There are so many querky things to see you can't help but smile. Check out the different seating and the collection of watering cans. You will not regret staying here and will want to come back.

For most of the self drive portion of oor vacation in France we had booked accommodation in advance, but we needed something after Dijon, but left our run a bit late. Through TripAdvisor we made one enquiry, but there was no vacancy, but the lady there recommended Ambiance-Jardin. We contacted Pierrette and at first she had no vacancy, but she subsequently had a cancellation and contacted us. How lucky were we. We booked for two nights and then extended to three. We received a very warm welcome from Pierrette when we arrived and things just got better from there. Our room was delightful and extremely spacious. We found ourselves surrounded by antiques and memorabilia and to top it off we had a wonderful view of the garden, which is another one of Pierrette's passions. Breakfast was delicious and the menu changed every day along with the table setting and accessories. The view into the garden was relaxing and along with the conversation, it made for a long stay at the breakfast table each morning. We were visiting from Australia and this was our first time in the region. Knowing this Pierrette went out of her way to provide local information and provide maps and suggestions of the better things to see, do and visit in the time we had. We could not have been happier with the advice and certainly made the most of our time. Our stay at Ambiance-Jardin was a highlight of our vacation and we look forward to the next time we can visit.. .

Room Tip: We believe all rooms would be similar high quality. there are 4 which have been built above a barn. They all look into the garden and three have balconies. There is no noise.

This is probably the absolute best B&B that we ever stayed in. We were four couples and one baby. This was cozy, comfy and fun. Bedrooms are upstairs. Each bedroom is uniquely decorated. It has a large family and breakfast room downstairs. The owner is wonderful. Her home made, hand made breakfast is worth writing home about. It is situated in a little country village on a winding road. Its quiet and solitude are so enjoyable. (Posting rather late, so the earliest entry possible on this form is April of 2011, but it was actually 2010 when we went.) I am giving the location an "Excellent" rating, but it is based on quietness and solitude rather than on being near to anything else.

Yes, I have written MANY reviews on Ambiance-Jardin - but I have write one more! We learned in October that we would be moving away from Europe to Asia in December and wanted to take one more special trip in Europe before leaving.....of course the first place that came to mind was Ambiance-Jardin. Our visit was as perfect as all of our visits and even more special because it was during the Christmas holidays. We feel like we are visiting good friends when we stay here. If you want a very special place to stay......this is for you!

Room Tip: Every room at this B&B is perfect!

We first found out about Ambiance Jardin through trip advisor and tried to book for Xmas 2010 without success as Pierette was so busy so this year we booked very early!

What can I say? From the moment we pulled up we felt like we was being welcomed into Pierette's home, the room's are amazing with decor that is rustic and homely at the same time.
The other guests all have a lovely charm as well and the very first guests to post on trip advisor were also staying which was very nice.

Her recommendations for dinner were superb and local and very cost effective.

The local Xmas markets are also a delight and worth visiting both during the day and evening as they both offer different opportunities to enjoy the Xmas spirit.

We couldn't recommend it enough and have already booked up for Xmas 2012!!!!!
