We first found out about Ambiance Jardin through trip advisor and tried to book for Xmas 2010 without success as Pierette was so busy so this year we booked very early!

What can I say? From the moment we pulled up we felt like we was being welcomed into Pierette's home, the room's are amazing with decor that is rustic and homely at the same time.
The other guests all have a lovely charm as well and the very first guests to post on trip advisor were also staying which was very nice.

Her recommendations for dinner were superb and local and very cost effective.

The local Xmas markets are also a delight and worth visiting both during the day and evening as they both offer different opportunities to enjoy the Xmas spirit.

We couldn't recommend it enough and have already booked up for Xmas 2012!!!!!

We have been traveling for over 25 years, and the Ambiance-Jardin is definitely our favorite Bed and Breakfast. The owner, Pierrette, could not be a more delightful and genuine person. Her pride and devotion to her garden, bed and breakfast, and customers creates a wonderfully memorable visit. The location was excellent for taking daily excursions. We visited wineries, beautiful wine road villages, Castle Haut Koenigsbourg, Colmar, and even the Black Forest. However, with all of the fantastic things that we saw, we keep talking about Pierrette and how we can't wait to return to her fairy tale Bed and Breakfast that is Ambiance-Jardin.

Room Tip: Foliage Room was large and beautiful overlooking the garden

I booked with Ambiance-Jardin because my husband is a garden lover and I had read such wonderful reviews. They were all true! Such a lovely garden with lovely surprises around every corner. The village has a great restaurant to dine in the evenings and many sights to see around the area including a castle or two, wine to taste, or a short drive to Frieburg, Germany for shopping. The rooms are large, several overlooking the garden with a balcony, and a large sitting room downstairs.

Room Tip: For a little extra a room with a balcony would be a good choice.

What can we say to add to the superlatives heaped upon this wonderful B & B? We have been staying in B & bs for over 20 years and none could compare to this one. Pierrette and Jean-Luc are wonderful hosts and their enjoyment in having guests who appreciate gardens etc is clear to see.
the rooms are 5 Star and the breakfasts top class.
We LOVE this place and will be back.
thank you Pierrette and Jean-luc for your kindness and hospitality.

What can we say? We LOVE Ambiance Jardin! And we promise you that everything written about this B&B is 100% true! We also find that the other guest we meet have stayed here several times.

This was the first time our visit coincided with the garden in full bloom - stunning! As always, we find so much in the area to do, including flea markets! We had dinner twice at the sweet restaurant in walking distance from the B&B - A la Couronne - their prix fixe dinner can't be beat!

We already have our room booked for a December visit - an extra special time to visit this area with all the Christmas Markets. Not only is the decor adorable at Ambiance Jardin, but the owners - Pierrette and Jean Luc are the best!

My mother came to visit over her spring break, and I thought we'd take a road trip to Alsace as it's relatively close to where we live. I chose the Ambiance Jardin based upon previous reviews, and boy, was I not disappointed.

It is off the beaten track, but honestly, that ADDED to our love of this gem rather than detracting from it. Diebolsheim is a lovely farming community with one of the singularly best restaurants I have ever been to in my life (it is just down the block, and I think the only restaurant in town). Madame Pierette is a lovely person. I was honestly nervous about bringing my 3 month old son on a bit of a trip, but it was also lovely to get out of the house.

The Foliage room, where we stayed, was large and airy even by American standards. It had a lovely porch overlooking the garden, which was immaculate. There were very cute (and funny) personal touches around the rooms, including the extra loo roll being in a pail lowered by a rope. The bed was very comfortable and large, and everything was wonderfully clean.

Pierette was additionally very accommodating to the fact that I had a 3 month old. I had to wash and sterilize his bottles, and she was willing to pop them in the microwave for me for sterilization. He did fuss ever so slightly one night, but I am certain that the room walls were thick enough that no one heard.

The breakfast was lovely as well, with the normal Continental fare, slightly unusual and lovely jams, meats, cheeses and a cake/sweet each morning.

I will be returning with my husband and son in tow for a weekend soon.

It was a lovely base from which to visit Strasbourg, the wine trail, and Colmar. We had the perfect relaxing short French getaway.

Wonderful host! She greets you with juice and cookies, recommends sites, and her breakfast is wonderful!!! The room overlooked the garden and was completely relaxing (no tv, but free internet). Close to the wine route, yet out of the way of the tourists.
