We arrived minutes before a massive thunderstorm and so decided to eat in the hotel restaurant, a good choice as it turned out.
It's clear that everyone in this hotel multitasks and so you may have to wait a few minutes to get served, but who cares?. We had a couple of drinks before dinner and the barman, who later became our waiter, introduced us to Arneis, a local white wine which became our choice of white wine for the rest of the trip. The menu was short, another good sign, and the food excellent.
We were lucky enough to eat in the cellar underneath the hotel because a corporate team building group had requested that they eat here.
In the morning the rain had stopped and we departed happy.More
