We did all the water /river activities at the lodge with Riverbug Asia, the operator of the lodge. It was a fun packed 2D1N. We never knew there was water rafting in Malaysia. Compared to North Island in New Zealand, the river is smaller and very rocky. Not for the faint hearted though. As the raft was smaller, the river though only grade II /III feels much stronger and me & my younger two kids fell into the river! Luckily the guide taught us body rafting before water rafting. Think many must have fell in. It was scary but we learned what to do and what not to do, and I taught it was quite fun! There was also a camera man that came along taking photos of us throughout the whole rafting.
The lodge and the room are very clean, and the food tasted great. Our package had all the meals provided. The only uncomfortable part was the lack of hot water for showering, and that there is electricity only from 7pm to 7am. Well, it's an Eco lodge after all...
Overall, the experience is great!More
