This cute little restaurant way up in the 'backlands' off the Lago di Garda is almost a 'must'. Alberto, the owner/cook, really looks for the well-being of his guests. My wife & me had a great Italian lunch prepared with love and dedication (e.g. I had an absolutely outstanding Tartuffo-focused 5-course meal). The language 'problems' (our limited Italian & Alberto's English) were no issue at all and after lunch we had a grappa on the house down in his catacombs (=cellar). Just great !
