“The Best Zipline experience ever”
Reviewed April 24, 2013

Ok so as you all might know this is the highest zipline in the world and the one with best experience too. It is a whole series of 8 ziplines and we also did The Beast which is the best one.1.47 kms long beast in which they harness you in the lying down position facing downward. The two guides who were helping us through the whole thing were very helpful. The whole process was of 3 and a half hours including the Beast. The view of the valley through ziplines was amazing. They also give you food tickets and the food is great. We are vegetarians and they made such awesome veggie sandwiches that was just perfect. There are also photographers which can click your pictures during 1st two ziplines but we carried our camera so we clicked our own pics and recorded the ride as well.Must do activity in Puerto Rico.

“Enjoyable, just be sure your schedule is flexible”
Reviewed April 20, 2013

8 higher and longer ziplines than we've done previously on the mainland. The guides were helpful and professional. We enjoyed it quite a bit.

There had been scattered showers the week we were there so we appreciated the flexibility of having a 'reservation' without having to provide a credit card ahead of time. Note the reservation doesn't ensure a time. You can arrive when you want.

We arrived about 10:45. The board said the next tour available was 11:30. We filled out the paperwork and paid. By 11:30, there were 16 people they put in the group. It was 12:15 by the time everyone got their harnesses and we headed to the first platform. We didn't finish until 3:15 (they estimated 90 minutes, so it actually took twice as long as estimated). Then there was an approx 30 minute very bumpy, steep ride back up in an open air truck belching diesel smoke.

But still, we enjoyed ourselves. Just don't be in a hurry!

“Total fun half day of aerial adventure”
Reviewed April 15, 2013

Great fun for a half day at the site. Do two tours in that time. Don't miss the La Bestia or the Toro Salvaje. The others may be more fun - and that would be great! These are awsome. The Beast is an almost mile long scream of a zip line. The Wild Bull is a high wire obstacle course. Both fun, good staff and safe protocols. Bring water.

If at all possible, drive from the North. The Southern route from Ponce is rough and takes far longer than the map would indicate.

“Poor service.”
Reviewed April 13, 2013

Was made wait 2 hours while all the staff went to lunch. Was told the guide would come by in 5-6 minutes. Waited 53 minutes after being told that. To top it off, this was a $70 price guide. All that for a 2 minutes zip. Won't go back and will discourage anyone from doing so.

“Be prepared”
Reviewed April 8, 2013

This is a fun adventure for the healthy and well prepared tourist. The station attendants at each spot on the zip lines are nice and friendly. I felt calm and relaxed the whole time, never in danger. We also did the Beast (our younger daughter didn't weigh enough to be able to ride it). However, you will not have as much fun if you're not prepared. 1. There are no toilets once you leave the main station. Since we did the entire zip line course and went directly to the Beast line, several of the girls in our group had to be taken by truck back to the main station to use the restroom. You could potentially be outside for hours with no facilities. 2. There is no shelter from the rain once you leave base. It poured cold rain on us, and after we finished our zip lining, we waited at least an hour with no shelter or facilities before the army truck came to bring us to the Beast. Again, once we got there, no bathrooms, no shelter, no water. A lot of this depends on the season and the weather. But the place is still underbuilt, in my opinion, to handle large groups. The ride back is VERY rough in these army trucks, and there is no protection from the elements. Just be prepared, bring waterproof items if you can, and eat something before you take off. Overall, the people running it are doing a nice job trying to build up something fun and interesting. The views are wonderful, and the actual time zip lining is great. I would do it again, but I'd cancel if the weather was cold and rainy. We were soaked to the bone when we finally got a ride back to base.
