Wow Wow Wow. Have just returned from a weekend of fun filled laughter and joy. My husband and I attended my cousins wedding at the farm. We were given a very warm reception on arrival, and time and care was taken to explain where events were to take place. So let start with the bedrooms. Spotless and clean, good size rooms furnished to match the rustic look of the building were were housed in. Toilets spotless and a good supply of soaps gels etc. 5 Star all the way.
Food. Yum Yum very good quality food and plenty of it. Nothing was to much trouble for the staff and supplying double helpings was there is you wanted more. Being an organic farm you can taste the difference if the food. A must is the cheese board sadly this was my downfall.
The grounds are well maintained and a fantastic venue for a wedding reception. Lizzie opened her home to every single one of us. I cant fault Lizzy, Marlena, Agnes, Nathanial, Joe and Sam. Five star staff, Five star accommodation, Five star food. We were treated like royalty and all made to feel special making my cousins wedding outstanding. Thank you all.

Room Tip: Dont go there if you are on a diet.

Spent this weekend at the farm for my daughters wedding. Wonderful setting, accomodation, staff, food
and drink. I can't compliment the staff highly enough for their hard work in making the weekend so special for both families and friends of the bride and groom. One of the best wedding weekends I have
ever experienced. If you're a believer, there's even a beautiful church a mile down the road to get married in.

Room Tip: All the rooms are great.

We stayed in the Gypsy Caravan & loved it.
We shared the fire pit & compost loo with the Shepherd's van. There was also a 'normal' loo & shower shared with the campers.

The breakfasts were delicious and the owners Lizzie & John, & their team were very hospitable & helpful. The relaxed atmosphere enabled all of the other visitors to interact with each other.

I would recommend a visit & it is definitely a place we will return to. (we don't say that about many places).

Although we do not have a dog, we are dog lovers and this is a perfect location in a dog friendly environment.

There are lots of different accommodation options, gypsy caravan, shepherds hut, camping, B&B. You can even get married here...

Room Tip: Gypsy Caravan = simply amazing comfy bed, stunning views :D

We got married at Huntstile in July 2012 and had the most incredible 2 days. Lizzie and John at the farm were so helpful and gave us exactly what we wanted without an enormous wedding premium! We had lots of family staying including little children, and all of their parents felt completely happy and safe to let them explore and play on the farm. Those city kids have never had such a good time! There was plenty of room for our huge family, and Lizzie even helped us organise some other local accommodation for guests.
We had our marriage ceremony at the stone circle, which has the most exceptional view of the Somerset countryside, the sea and Wales. We were extremely lucky with the weather, so you could see for miles. Having the ceremony at the stone circle meant we could have exactly what we wanted, and we made the most of the view by using the track as our aisle. All the guests had already been taken up on the tractor, and we got a lift to the brow of the hill and appeared magically in the distance!
The food and drink was beautiful, we went for an afternoon tea, which included loads of delicious home baked cakes and sandwiches- plenty for everyone. Later on we had a hog roast with all the trimmings, which again was outstanding!
It really was perfect, and I would wholeheartedly recommend anyone to get married at huntstile!

Many of the guests said that weddings can tend to blur into each other, and you can't remember each individual one, but the wedding at huntstile was a truly memorable and special experience.

Lots of our guests are planning to return to the farm to stay with family, and Tom and I are definitly going to return for our 1 year anniversary!

We got married at Huntstile Farm in the stone circle in August. We had the whole family staying on site at the farm for the weekend and Lizzie and the team at the farm ensured we had the most amazing and memorable wedding and weekend. Many of our guests have said it was the best wedding they have ever been to... Everything was perfect, the location, the venue, the weather, the stone circle and tractor ride and especially the food and the service.
We really appreciate how special Huntstile helped make the day, they were brilliant from start to finish. The accomodation is great and it really is a home from home!
What a start to married life and an unforgetable weekend at Huntstile Farm. Would recommend as a wedding venue, B&B, camp site or holiday... You just can't go wrong. Gibby&Lucy Barnfather.x

We stayed at Friendly cottage when we went down to Taunton to attend our Sons wedding, the cottage is very well appointed and felt like a comfortable home. Friendly cottage is a just few minutes walk from Huntstile and is therefore perfect if you are there for a wedding reception. The wedding reception was superbly organised and the hors d'oeuvres followed by the hog roast was exceptional, the only problem was that few people had any room left for the incredible buffet later in the evening (ask about the cheese cake). Thanks to Lizzie and her team for all their cheerful hard work.

We stayed at the Cider House as part of a wedding party that took over the entire farm for the event.

The room was spacious, beds extremely comfortable, super clean and a great bathroom with an electric shower that was perfectly adequate.

We had a good old nosey at all of the other accommodation on offer and it all looked superb, especially the Panelled Rooom. Love the way old houses never really have anything built in a straight line but that is what gives it character.

There was a stunning living room area full of sofas and comfy chairs which we didn't really use as the weather was warm enough to sit outside all day and night. There was a marquee built to host the wedding dinner.

The staff were absolutely brilliant, incredibly helpful, always around if needed but totally left you on your own so didn't feel at all uncomfortable.

The food, all locally sourced and organic (the clue is in the name of the venue), plentiful and bursting with taste.

As this is a working farm, there were loads of animals about the place, including chickens, goats and a great big pig called Rose who looked very happy to be there. Lots of farm machinery and hay bales stored in open sheds - it is a working farm after all. Could be a bit dangerous to unsupervised kids I guess, although I grew up around farms and always loved playing in that kind of environment.

And if that weren't enough, there was an unforgettable wedding venue location around a stone circle built relatively recently. It made the whole service so magical that all of the wedding party I feel sure will never forget it. Right from the guests all arriving via a great big tractor pulling a big truck to a peaceful idyll setting complete with lady playing harp to the bride arriving and bride/groom departing in a gorgeous cart pulled by two beautiful shire horses. What a GREAT way to start married life.

So in short, I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this venue to not only stay but also have an amazing wedding.
