Very good for families with children, rooms with a twin bed and a single one in a tight place, not a good view from balcony, clean. Pool is located at the California hotel near by Delta. To the beach you have to walk about 10 - 15 min

Some things bothered us in 2015 :

1. Service quality - this improved part from the restaurant, part from our side because we managed to meet some of the personnel and "work" together for a better dining experience - thank you Marius and Radu

2. Beach and water - near the hotel the beach is rocky and full of shells with cutting edges, not really pleasant to enjoy the sea this way. But we found the Venus-Saturn beach which is perfect. Although it involves a 5-10 minutes drive, you will have no problem with the parking near this beach and the perfect sand and water will make you really feel like holiday.

On top of this we enjoyed this year for the first time a dinner at the Fish&Grill restaurant on the beach. I recommend the home made sausages.

Also, make sure you don't miss out on the Circus near the Venus-Saturn beach. Great show and good prices for snacks and beer while inside.

Room tip: we enjoyed better the room on the opposite side of the parking

Pro's
- Location is good, you can easily go the beach and to different restaurants in the resort
- They have a play center for kids with animators
- Access to a pool (clean, big, near a bar) - the thing is this pool is near hotel California (which is in the same group of hotels)
- Daily cleaning of the room

Con's
- Restaurant doesn't look so good
- The furniture in the rooms are old
- The parking costs (4 lei per day in august 2016)
- You have to pay in advance all the days when you want to rent sunbeds if you want to pay half of the sum
- During the evening you hear the live music from the restaurant (if you stay on the same side of hotel where you can see the restaurant)

Room tip: Not on the same side with the restaurant

Bad hotel, very poor rooms, old furniture, small room, you have to pay for breakfast, you have to pay for parking, you have to pay for almost everything extra. Not a good place to stay. The breakfast is poor and cheap presented with bad vegetables and every day the same. The restaurant is terrible, bad food, small portions with no taste, don't eat you have nereby better choises.

Room tip: If you are unlucky to buy upfront the room that is it if not don't go here

Hotel Delta 3* from Jupiter is located near the resort’s center and 10 minutes walking to the "beach children" - one of the 3 hotel's private beach, equipped with playground and pool. Water has very small waves and is warm, because here is a small cove, but there is a disadvantage for children: both sand of the beach and water is not so fine, on the contrary, is full of shells and stones. We did not do beach here, my baby not being able to play at all in this sand. A big plus is the free toilet and shower on the beach ( I do not think I saw somewhere on the Romanian seaside showers on the beach). There is a play area for children (with two mini pools) and a bar on this beach. Theoretically playground access is allowed only to those who are staying at hotels California and Delta, but in the week when I was there, about half the children stayed at other hotels. There was not a problem because it was late August and was not very crowded. Near hotel there is a playground common for hotels California and Delta with many facilities for children (over 5 years): slides, inflatable castles, games etc.

The hotel is very clean, it is its main asset - maids deserve best scoring (at least where we sat). The rooms are small (it's the same pattern of 3* hotel in the old days, where you barely have place for an extra bed and no other space). The furniture in the room is relatively new, with a lot of storage space if you don’t want to keep things in bags; the bathroom is basic, one bad thing being that when showering, water is going down all over the bathroom. Towels were changed every day and within a week they changed bedding twice.

Inside the hotel there was no facility for small children. There is an area of gaming (game consoles and computers), but is aimed at those over 4-5 years. We got 2 days of rain and except staying in the reception, there was no way to entertain our little one. A swing / slide or other small attractions would not occupy much room. In California hotel (a 5-10 minute walk) there is an indoor play area and two outdoor pools (all such facilities are allowed free for those staying in the Delta hotel). I tried to go to swimming there twice, but the number of sun beds is low (the fact that you make reservation the day before at the reception Delta does not mean that you’ll find a free sun bed) and the water was terribly cold (even for adults), so I preferred to go to sea.

Breakfast was not one we expect it as for adults was satisfactory (one or two kinds of sausage, scrambled eggs with sausage, cheese or cheese, two kinds of jam, honey, two types of fruit juice, tea coffee, incredibly sweet rice milk, one or two types of fruits) but, apart from bread with butter and honey and fruit, I had nothing to offer to my baby (cheese was very salty and we refused to give him sausages). There should be some improvements made.

The restaurant was very busy in the evening and serving time was quite slow (waiting time 15 minutes to take the order), therefore we ate there two dinners in a week. You can purchase a package for meals to be paid on check-in. The advantage of this package is that children do not pay anything, the disadvantage being that must be paid in advance all meals (lunch + dinner) - which is not too great. Also for very small children and babies there are not many food options (generally food for adults, but in smaller portions). Prices are quite high in the restaurant and the food was not great. Also there is a nice band singing in the restaurant. We preferred to eat cheaper and much better near the hotel (restaurant Antik), on some other location from Jupiter or even in Neptune.

Parking is guarded and the fee is 4 lei / day.
I recommend the hotel for families with one child (do not see how it could stay 2 adults and 2 children in rooms so small), possibly older age can benefit from the playground outside the enclosure and have patience to wait command tables. Also recommend rooms facing north (rooms x01-x30), rooms x31-X55 being much warmer.
