I recently had the pleasure of staying in the best bed and breakfast accommodation I have ever experienced! Corston House in Pembrokeshire has it all! Character, spaciousness, cleanliness, comfort, value for money and a feeling of really being 'away from it all'! A party of seven walkers enjoying the Coastal Path, we had the good fortune to have booked Nikki and George's house (and what a house) for a two night stay. Dinner was included on both evenings and one packed lunch. The homemade food was mouth watering and served eloquently in the attractive dining room. Our hosts were friendly, helpful and informative and made our stay in Wales all the more enjoyable. For somewhere to stay that's a little different and reasonably priced, you will not be disappointed with Corston House!

My partner and I stumbled across Corston House by chance looking for a dog-friendly b&b at the last minute. We couldn't have found anywhere better. It was like staying in a beautiful old country house hotel - but at half the price. The hospitality of George and Nicky (and Beavis and Betty Boo!) was fantastic. They are so friendly and helpful. Nicky even asked us if we would like to swap rooms after 2 nights to a larger one (the first was big enough!) so we did and enjoyed the wonderful view from the large bay window. This is not a highly polished, modern interpretation of a country house but the real thing - wonderful old furniture and full of character. More like staying in a friend's family home than a guest house. Excellent.

Room Tip: First floor - the one with the bay window.

I spent two nights here with my friends. There were seven of us and we were a group of walkers walking the Pembrokeshire Coast for six days. The welcome we received from George and his wife Nikki was unbelievable. Our rooms were old world, high beds with every convenience, lashings of roasting hot water which we appreciated after a long day's walk. They thought of everything - even an indoor clothes line to dry our clothes ! We ate there on the two nights and the food besides being reasonably priced was incredible - Nikki's Mousakka has to be tasted to be appreciated. The atmosphere was friendly, hospitable and helpful. If you are holidaying in this area this establishment is not to be missed.

Room Tip: Ask for the Yellow Room with its high walnut beds and broderie anglaise valances looking out on an e...

We were looking for somewhere to crash between two days of walking on the coastal path, and couldn't believe our luck to find a place so beautiful, full of character, quiet, luxurious, clean, welcoming... We were two couples, all of whom travel frequently for our work, and used to pretty much everything from travelodges to the top international hotels. This place was special. Our every need was catered for, the evening meal was fantastic, and George and Nicky were the perfect hosts, yet totally unintrusive.
We wouldn't hesitate in recommending Corston House, and can't wait to find an excuse to go back.

This listed house is a hidden gem to which everyone should go if visiting Pembrokeshire. Close to amazing beaches for winter walks with our family and dogs over half term, we could not have picked a more friendly, warm & comfortable house to stay in with the best breakfasts we have ever had. The large rooms were so well appointed with fresh white Egyptian cotton sheets with a great selection of books and very comfortable beds. They have just set up a new web site for Corston House so do contact George and Nicky if you are planning to go to West Wales.
We will be back!

Room Tip: All the rooms are very spacious and lovely.
