Really enjoyed this place. We got to go walking with lions which was awesome (but make sure you stay in a group), but feeding the baby lion cubs was also pretty cool. But my favourite part was playing with the Devils (Sampson, Delilah, Lydia, Kylie and Wayne), got a few scratches, but that was completely my own fault as I was playing with them, and I wore the scratches with pride.
The grounds are very well kept. We stayed at a lodge which wasn't on the main site, and we had to call and arrange a time to be picked up when we wanted to go to the main area, which was only a slight inconvience for us, as they always came to us at the time arranged.

Thank Vicki C

We had a unique experience here walking with the lions and entering the cheetah enclosures. The best part was playing with the cubs. The staff is very courteous and highly knowledgeable. Truly, one of the most memorable experiences in South Africa.

Walk with lions, cuddle cubs - who could ask for more!!

the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful.

We were only there for one night but wish we could have stayed longer.

The premises is well kept and guides will greet you as you park.

There seems to be a lot of activity between and tours starting at different times between the visitors and the people lodging on the premises.

The tour consists of interaction with the lion kittens (2-3 months) of about 30 minutes, and the lion cubs (6 months) for about 30 minutes, the walk with the young adult lions (1 year) about 45 minutes, seeing the female lions, the male lions (fully grown), a cheetah that you can interact about 15 minutes, and other animals on the reserve.

There are bathrooms located in the main area of the facility and a souvenir shop that has drinks available. There is coffee and tea provided with a cake or tart. You may want to bring snacks as the tour runs a little past lunch time depending on how everything is happening that day. The mood of the animals dictate how the day will unfold.

The guides are very friendly and try hard to teach you about the lions, the challenges of lions, and what Ukutula is all about.

This will be one of the things in your life that will forever stand out in your memory.
