We arrived there just in time for sunset to take in the incredible view over the hilly countryside and ocean. The restaurant is actually located on the roof top terrace of a small corner house, nicely decorated in white and blue colors, but why you go there is the view from that terrace and the the food that comes along. We kicked off the evening with a bottle of the best local processo (for just 12 €), a wonderful zucchini suffle with scrimps, pasta with branzino, tagliata (beef) with black pepper and octopus (pulpo) in a well balanced vegetable mix. A starter is about 8-10€, main dishes about 8-13€ - an incredible bargain given the quality of the food! The same Dinner would be twice as much in Toscany or other European tourist hubs -- and at least three time as much in any mediocre US resort. On top, service is really efficient and helpful, in particular if your italian is not good enough to master the menue. We will be there again for sure during our vacations!

This restaurant is simple, traditional, welcoming, affordable and perfectly situated. The food and wine is delicious (try the octopus!). The owner is incredibly friendly and accomodating. The view over the hills and sea, facing the sunset, is breathtaking. It's a short drive from Ancona or Numana and is situated in the lovely little village of Poggio. Overall, a welcome break from typically overpriced and touristy places.

My boyfriend and I ate at this restaurant a month ago. It seems to be a nice family run restaurant. Nice ambience, small restaurant - so the tables were put very close to each other but luckily we went there on a quiet afternoon, so it was not noisy or anything. We had tagliatelle with ragu, tortellini, grilled meat, fresh salad and a creme brûlée for dessert, no wine. The food in general is pretty good - everything tasted fresh. However, the portion size is on the smaller side - so we had to order more to fill ourselves up. The server was friendly and attentive. We spent about 30 euro a head and for this price usually I would expect something a little better for this region of Italy.
