Stopped into Moonee Beach Holiday Park on our way to Qld. We had intentions of camping the whole time so booked an unpowered site for 2 nights. The camping grounds are good, well looked after and the amenities block is very clean and requires a code so only park visitors can use them.
The holiday park is literally on the beach, with a lot of sites to see, at low tide you can walk across the channel to the beach. After our two nights we went up to Qld but returned for a further 3 nights at Moonee Beach on our way home. This time however stayed in a cabin as we were over camping. Stayed for a further 3 nights and the cabins have what you need. Clean and tidy. They are obviously not 5 star but are good value for money and very homely. The staff here were very nice as well and look forward to returning.
