Sherbrooke Village Inn
Reviewed June 4, 2013

My family and I have recently stayed at the Sherbrooke inn, Canada for 4 days and enjoyed every minuet of it we arrived to very kind and welcoming staff who couldn't do enough for you. After a long travel we were pleased to be shown to a lovely clean and airy room. The restaurant was lovely and clean also with more friendly staff and excellent food and very good rates. We are looking forward to booking our stay with them next year :)

We recently stayed just one night at the Sherbrooke Village Inn and I just couldn't recommend this motel to anyone.
On arrival we were greeted and attended to by a very friendly and efficient staff member who offered to show us a room. As we had been travelling all day we decided to take it rather than drive further even though we thought it was overpriced. However, when started to move our luggage in we noticed that it really wasn't very clean, the armchair had greasy stains and the room just felt unclean. We looked at two other rooms that were in terrible condition, the manager then offered us another room which we reluctantly took.
I can understand trying to keep costs down but the only things provided in the room were toilet paper and liquid soap dispensers. No tissues, hairdryer etc which you would expect for the amount charged for the room.
This is an old place that needs a lot of tender loving care not excuses.
To be honest we couldn't get out of there quick enough!

Rented the house that could sleep a small army. Was very peaceful, lots of clean linens and towels - and really clean too - smelled like sunshine, like they were dried on a clothes line, because they were:D Great little restaurant, excellent breakfasts especially.
Great for kids, lots of running around space and they could be tucked away in bed upstairs while parents hung out downstairs without disturbing them - could actually watch something other than treehouse for a change! Some cosmetic things, but nothing to get your nose out of joint over. 20 minutes to a great beach in either direction, wonderful historic village with costumed interpretors just around the corner.

Room was clean; linens & towels clean. Not quite what I expected from the web site picture. More of a motel type of lodging. Restaurant was OK. We thought it was a bit pricey compared to some of our other lodging while traveling.
