We came to the Wachau Valley looking for the countryside, and Wili's Bauernhof delivered. Rooms are clean, tastefully decorated, and spacious. Breakfast is fantastic, with things like cold cuts, jams, and juices from the farm itself (and other things from neighboring farms). In particular, the ham and other cold cuts are some of the best we have ever tasted.
The family is warm and welcoming. Christina, who runs the B&B, speaks English fluently. You might want to learn a few German phrases so you can thank Oma (Grandma) for her amazing breakfasts.
Just a few small cautions:
1. This is a working farm - the bulls and tractors might wake you up early (6 or 7 AM)
2. This is about a 10 minute drive away from the main roads - arriving during daylight the first time will make finding it easier.More
