I have lived in the Cayman Islands for over 6 years and had no idea that this little gem of a park was here! Driving down Old Robin Road one day a few weeks ago, I almost put my car off the road when I spotted this enormous land crab out of the corner of my eye! I had never seen it before so turned the car around to see what was there. There is a little spot to park with a welcome sign so you can pull off the road and get out and walk around.
Such a fab garden - a wonderful blend of tropical plants and sculptures. The land crab (Clawdette), the crocodile (Romenio) and the blue iguana (Ivana) all stand out but, the more you walk around, the more you will discover. A sea turtle, a mermaid, an eel, and a stingray all delight you in a "sea" of lilies. Davinoff has also entwined a huge concrete snake into the frangipani tree, a red apple with a large bite out of it dangling on a nearby branch. I can't wait to see what he does next.
You gotta see this! You'll be charmed!
