Description: Cayman's favorite beach restaurant - worth going further for! Part thatched tiki bar, part European beach chic, part breezy Californian cool, and a generous dose of Caribbean nauticalia – you’re in for an aesthetic treat at this Cayman beachfront restaurant with outdoor grill and wood fired pizza oven. Casual fine dining is the style; locally sourced ingredients, simple preparation, amazing flavours. The creative menu of affordable plates is a comforting crowd pleaser. Look out for Barefoot Beach BBQ, every Tuesday, where the crowds jump up to live music, get down to limbo, and enjoy unlimited local dishes from the BBQ buffet. The monthly Luna Del Mar full moon dinner serves up a 3-course sharing feast, with chill-out music and sky lanterns. Nestled on a palm fringed beachfront, in secluded Rum Point on the North Side of the island, the foodie destination Kaibo boasts a stunning all day menu and pretension-free service. You’ll enjoy the scenic drive to this tropical playground.

Dropped in for a light late afternoon lunch.
Splitting a fish plate and side of fries was just the right size and no problem or added fees from the restaurant.
Had a small black bird serenade us and felt trying to raid our French fries was his due for his efforts. Cute.

We went to Kaibo one day for lunch, and it was a disappointment. The staff were frantic trying to take orders, deliver food, pick up from the bar. It was crazy, and we were sitting right across from the bar. The food was terrible, fried beyond belief, and expensive. Yes I know we are in the Cayman Islands but 5 people no alcohol, and I only had hummis = $125 is a bit ridiculous.

ith the cancellation of the million dollar race it was off to Kaibo's for the kite festival, and weren't we glad we went. Excellent food delivered quickly despite it being extremely busy, wonderful live entertainment and the beach a few feet away. If anything the only downside was the number of boats coming in to refuel which sometimes seem to come a little close to the kids for comfort. Recommended!

Too bad the service was the worst I have experienced because the location and atmosphere is unbeatable. We came here for the all you can eat beach bbq. There was live music, dancing, children running around playing tag, beautiful sunset. The ambience could not have been more perfect. The buffet food was just okay. Unfortunately the waitress was so overloaded with tables she got us our drinks and that was it after that. We had to ask for the check four times! We waited about a half hour and finally left the table and my husband and I sat on beach chairs by the water and let the kids play for another 20 minutes before we finally went up to the bar and demanded our check. We even considered leaving without paying because it was so difficult to pay but we are honest people. I would try coming here once more for the beach bbq scene but the owner or manager should staff better!

Ate here for dinner with our kids. Food was OK. Tzatziki had too much dill, ceviche not quite right. Fish n chips on the smaller side. Great location on the beach. Service was great.
