“Kaibo-great food/music!”
Reviewed January 13, 2013

This place is wonderful, and the awesome band, "Bona Fide" plays there every Tuesday... Dance on the white sand beach to Island music, eat a wonderful catch of the day buffet, enjoy the tiki lights while watching the waves of the sound... blissful, and frankly a well-kept secret! (Quite the break from noisy Georgetown :)

“Great atmosphere, really good food”
Reviewed January 2, 2013

We enjoyed it so much, we went back several times after our first visit on the first night we were on Grand Cayman. The Coconut Curry Grouper was amazing - I still crave that taste and texture. Wonderful service, great atmosphere - it's a "must do" thing when on the North Side. Prices reasonable as well.

“Just ok.”
Reviewed January 1, 2013 via mobile

We popped in for a quick couple of drinks and a few apps to experience Kaibo at Rum Point. We sat outside on a picnic table and ordered fries and rings, and the fries were average. I only mention it because they boast "world famous" fries. I can assure you, it is simple puffery... The fries are not terrible, but they are not great either... Maybe they forgot to change the oil that day. Other than that, the beach is not swimable, and it is more of a dockside spot. We went to Rum Point the next day, but did not return to Kaibo.

“Don't bother going to the grill downstairs!”
Reviewed December 31, 2012

I didn't see a location for the downstairs (more casual) grill on the beach so am posting my review here. Not to put down the upstairs (more expensive) restaurant which I did not visit, but the downstairs bar and grill by the beach is awful. Worst steak I ever had! Literally had to throw it out, it was so full of fat and was very tough. Service was slow too and a bit surly. Would not eat there again.

“Great food, beautiful view!”
Reviewed December 28, 2012

My husband and I stopped in here for drinks one night and really enjoyed the atmosphere. We sat at a picnic table on the beach. Since their menu looked very good, we returned the next day for lunch. The food was fabulous!! Would definitely recommend this restaurant for lunch or dinner! Also, it was not touristy like the Rum Point restaurant.
