We ordered the 5 course dinner paired with the wine sampler and was very pleased.
The service was excellent. The view was amazing, looking out onto the waters of Cayman Kai.
The intimate setting was perfect for an anniversary dinner. We were looking for that special place to celebrate and found it at Kaibo - Upstairs. Thank you

Everything was perfect for the evening. We loved the food and Daniel was an excellent host. We most likely wouldn't have brought the kids if we had looked into the restaurant before hand. Very romantic setting right on the beach.

We have eaten at the grill downstairs many times and have always enjoyed the peaceful location so decided to give Upstairs a try. We were very pleased! The food choices were varied and interesting and the atmosphere inviting! We decided to skip the appetizer and focus on dinner and then share a dessert and coffee. Good choice...the pork and mahimahi preparations were creative and delicious! The "port hole" was a fun and tasty drink choice and the rare rum on coconut ice was also good. We shared a white and dark choc mousse creation with cappuccino and expresso which was a perfect end to a lovely dinner.
The service was pleasant although this is not the place to go if you have any time constraints which we did not. The meal took awhile to be served and the chef sent out a cup of mint/green pea soup while we waited , at no charge..lovely gesture and unexpectedly tasty as the combination was not appealing in print to either of us initially. The staff was attentive and the chef made several trips around to be sure all was well and even changed out oil lamp to keep overhead fan from blowing it out. A special relaxing evening with lovely peaceful views of Cayman Kai.

Great food, great service and great atmosphere! The ox tail and filet were delicious and I would not have changed a thing. Great place to go if you have a boat as well!

I read about "Upstairs" on TripAdvisor so this was our spot for a really nice dinner while on Grand Cayman. It's WAY out of the way, but worth the time to get there. Set right on a little cove just past Rum Point, the Upstairs is such a quaint, but elegant spot overlooking the water. The decor inside and out is just classic! Dinner on the outside patio was perfect! (we were there when the downstairs Beach Bar was not crowded, but I could see that getting a little rowdy at times)

Now for the dinners..... In my party, we had the Pork special, which was a combination of braised pork shoulder, tenderloin that melted in your mouth and rolled pork belly that was like nothing I've ever had before (all delicious)! The "Seafood" bowl was a Thai inspired dish prepared with coconut milk and curry and chucked full of fish and shell fish. The Snapper dish was excellent, as well. All the dishes had an impeccable presentation and were to die for!! Kaibo upstairs is the finest dining on island if you're looking for a special meal that will not disappoint!
