Lucy’s Hideaway in the tiny village of Baigneux-les-Juifs was a quiet little oasis. The owner Sharon and her husband beautifully remodeled the house making it feel very modern and fresh while maintaining it’s historical integrity. The furnishings were very comfortable from the bed to the chairs and couch inside and the deck/garden outside. Because we were a bit away from many towns with more restaurants we decided to have Sharon supply us with our first night’s meal. She created a beautifully displayed charcuterie board of meats, cheeses and more that lasted us for 5 days. In addition a welcome basket with cremant, homemade jam, mustard, a baguette and candy from nearby Flavigny. We ordered her Beef Bourguignon and it was fantastic and we were so happy to have enough for the next dinner as well. Located near many lovely towns and sights in Burgundy this was a wonderful location to explore from. A place not to be missed!
