This small family spa is the best place to enjoy the north of Israel. Avi and Anit spoilt us and the rooms are perfect with own jacuzzi and balcony with mango trees overlooking the Kineret. This was our 4th stay.

We had an excellent 2-night stay in this small hotel and altogether, the experience had been wonderful. We stay in these type of places in Israel at least once a year and Cnaan Village was one of the very best.

The grounds:
Beautiful landscaping and excellent facilities. During our stay the area experienced intense winter weather (in Israeli proportions, at least) and we made good use of the sauna and the heated pool. The pool is covered (soft covering) in winter and the heating is supplemented with a pool-side stove. I would never have thought I would enjoy swimming during an insane thunder storm, but it was an amazing experience.

Reception had cakes and drinks available at all times (free, serve yourself) and also a DVD library where we could (and did) select movies.

There is also a spa on property, something that is not very common in small places such as this. We did a couples' massage which we enjoyed, quality of treatment was decent.

The room:
Huge, clean and tastefully decorated. Often in Israeli "Zimmers" one gets way more kitsch and fluff than we personally prefer. The decor here was very classy.

There is a small garden right outside of the room facing the sea of Galilee. We were concerned about the privacy of this area and about people being able to look inside our room (the whole wall to the garden is one big window), but it turned out to be a non issue. The garden does not face any paths and there is a screen between neighboring rooms.

The shower is enormous (no tub) and there is a nice vanity area. Slippers and robes were provided.

A small "kitchen" area holds an espresso machine, kettle, all kinds of snacks and a mini fridge containing soft drinks and milk. There was also a bottle of wine waiting for us.

Service:

Very good and quite attentive while not overbearing. Cleaning was done when we were out of the room and we were asked if it is an appropriate time for us. When by the pool we were offered teats such as drinks and fruit. There is a true feeling of being a guest.

Our first night on the property, the rain got so bad that we could not leave town for dinner. The hotel called a tiny restaurant in town and got the chef to open especially for us (everything was closed because of the weather). The food was much better than we usually find in this area of the country and it was a great experience eating in our own restaurant, looking out during a storm.

The only thing we felt could have been better was the breakfast. The Israeli vacation market is very competitive on this point and we have experienced amazing breakfasts in competing hotels. Breakfast here was by no means bad, It contained the standard Israeli fair of omelette, bread, spreads etc. However, we felt that compared with the quality of the whole experience and the price bracket, the breakfast was just average. I would have loved to see interesting local products or more unusual offerings.

The room is heated by a fuel stove. Turning this on and off was a bit of an issue and we had to call someone to help us do it every time. I found it hard to adjust the room temperature to a level that suited us so we ended up just cracking open a window to offset the heat. An air conditioning unit is also available and is easier to adjust.

Room Tip: Only 5 rooms in the place, they all seemed similar.

We just spent 3 days in the north of Israel with our grown children. I picked Cnaan Village based on other reviews. Everything about this property and its location are top notch. The rooms are just lovely, service impeccable and friendly, breakfast abundant and served with a smile. There are great things to do in the area and we ended each day with a dip in the on-site pool. The view from our patio was spectacular! I highly recommend this gem to all! We will certainly return.

This was our second visit to Cnaan Village and again we had a wonderful two days of pure relaxation.
There are many nice places to stay in Northern Israel but Cnaan Village has what many places in Israel lack, and that is the service. Anat and the staff make you feel pampered from the minute you arrive.
The pool is beautiful and the temperature is always perfect. The rooms are luxurious, with comfortable beds. Everything is spotless and feels new.
Even the little things, such as Nespresso machines in the rooms give that extra touch.parl
Poolside fresh fruit and sparkling wine add to the experience.
We are looking forward to another visit in the winter.
This is our favorite getaway.

My daughter arranged a surprise birthday treat for me here. Really personal and extremely pleasant staff - wonderfully clean and quiet. The whole atmosphere of the place is calming, relaxed and professional. Great for couples or for those just wanting to have a special treat in isolated, peaceful and beautiful surroundings. Highly recommend Cnaan Village.

We are celebrating 3 birthdays in our family in August so we took the 5 suites. When you take all the suites you can bring children, otherwise its for couples only. We were three generations - all had great time.
It was a memorable weekend. Anat and Avi the owner and host are thinkink of everything, and you get what you need and want, 5 minutes before you think of it. Just one small example, we got there Thursday afternoon after a long drive. They got us sattled in and immidiately offered cold coctails, drinks, cold watermelon, to cool us down.
The pool area is great, there is a shade over the pool so you can stay in all day. We even had a night swim.
Breakfast is veru generous, and with the fruits and cakes served all day, you really only need dinner.
The spa treatments were very professional.
The rooms are specious, with a DVD and a lot of movies. Coffee machine, fruits and soft drinks in the rooms for free.
There is a new restaurant right in Had Ness - its called Villa V and its excellant.
In the winter the pool is heated, and the area is very mild, so we are thinking of coming back in the winter.
very recommended.

Room Tip: All rooms are the same.

It was built for one purpose:to make guests feel loved and relaxed. The owners Avi and Anat are wonderful people who go above and beyond in every little detail. From design to service it is just perfect.

With only 5 suits and no kids policy(unless you book all 5) place is so isolated and peaceful. You just want to sit there by the pool and relax. And relax you will. Get a wonderful treatment at the little amazing spa to get you even more relaxed. You will not want to leave.

Trust their dinner recommendations. They sent us to Vila V. 5 min away, and it turned out as one of the best restaurants in the country.
