Conies Farm Shepherd's Hut provided an unusual but fun stay for our 20th anniversary in July. The huts are very well appointed and surprisingly comfortable, Our two dogs accompanied us and they really appreciated the large grassy plot that the huts occupied. We ordered the breakfast hamper containing produce from the farm itself and can highly recommend this, the sausage was especially delicious.

The Shepherd's Hut at Conies Farm is just perfection. Every aspect of the design, layout and function of the Huts has been thought through and executed with care and creative flair. It is luxurious and practical, from the stylish interiors and the very comfortable beds to the bathroom and kitchen facilities; all without fault. And we recommend the breakfast hampers - absolutely delicious.
We really enjoyed having the site to ourselves, it's very safe and private and our little boy loved racing around the garden, playing the garden games provided and finding the fairy house - all very magical. And he loved meeting the dogs who were very friendly and playful.
Staying on the farm was great too, and Alicia and Phil gave us a very warm welcome and made us feel part of the family. We met the animals which was really interesting and the peace and quiet helped us to relax and feel a world away from our day to day lives. Just what you want from a holiday.
The location enabled us to visit lots of great places including Drusillas, Brighton and Bolney Wine Estate to name a few, very easily.
The Huts offer guests all they need to ensure a relaxing, comfortable and very different 'glamping' experience. We can't wait to go back.
Thank you so much Alicia and Phil.

This place had it all, from picturesque walks in the countryside, welcoming country pubs to a log burner to melt your marshmallows on and that's without even mentioning the farm, fresh eggs and stunningly beautiful accommodation.
My fiancé and I stayed with Alicia and Phil for a sunny weekend in May however I was so relaxed after our stay I felt like i'd been away for a week. I was over the moon when we pulled up to the shepherd's hut as sometimes the photos of your accommodation are not quite matching with reality in this case they don't do it justice the hut was so beautiful. There were lots of well thought out touches in the hut as well - it even had a deck of cards and marshmallows to melt by the fire in the dining hut.
The hut felt quite secluded from the farm which made it perfect for a romantic get away or even for a family with lots of space to sunbath or in our case drink cocktails in the sun.
The best bits - the mega comfy bed and opening half the hut door to hear the morning birds whilst catching another 40 winks
The worst bit - having to go home :(
I can't wait to go back.

Well, words do evade me on this occasion. My Wife and I along with our two young children stayed here for a weekend break, upon pulling in the the farm to be welcomed by Alicia we were overwhelmed by how wonderful 'The Hut' is and Conies Farm as a whole. Everything has been thought about from a few minutes showing us around and how everything works to the blanket to keep you warm whilst sitting out in the dining hut with a glass or two! Even a Frisbee to have a game with in the private grounds The Hut sits in. First impressions are truly everything and we could not fault The Hut or Alicia & Phil in any way. Thank you for such a memorable weekend and taking the time to show us around your farm and make us feel so welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

We have just returned from a wonderful bank holiday weekend break at the hut in the Orchard at Conies farm.
On arrival Alicia met us with a warm welcome and showed us around the shepherds and dining huts. Showing us where everything was and explaining how everything worked including the well designed hidden beds. The shepherds hut exceeded our expectations. The layout is exactly as you see in the photos. Alicia has put a great deal of thought and effort into the design decor and furnishings with everything to the same exacting standard.
From the towels, luxury linen and bathroom toiletries to the fresh bread, butter, jams, milk and eggs you could see the attention to detail. The kitchen well laid out and fully equipped for four and this allowed us plenty of space to cook full English breakfasts and dinners in the Hut. (Do try their own eggs, sausages and bacon, the taste was wonderful.
Before we had arrived, we had been concerned about the drop down bed. We need not have worried as we slept in comfort for two nights. Our six year old daughter couldn't wait to go to bed in her bunk over us each night.
The two huts have been placed perfectly to get the best of the sun and create a private environment. The Orchard provided a perfect place to chase around playing Frisbee, other games and having an exciting night safari with our daughter.
The dining Hut provided us with a great place for breakfast in the sun (one day) or protected from the rain (the next). The log burner is simple to use and all logs and kindling were provided. The comfy blankets and led candles made this perfect for post supper storytelling.
The trips to see the farm animals turned a great holiday into an amazing experience. They are careful to ensure your (and your children's safety) but gladly took time to show us around the farm yard meeting the pigs, cows and chickens and allowing our daughter to feed the animals with them at feeding time.
Phil and Alicia are the perfect hosts. They welcomed us to their farm and we loved it. So much so we're now booking our next visit.
