“Great villa”
Reviewed October 14, 2016 for a stay in June 2016

IMHO, this is one of the best Price/quality options at the eastern coast of Attica (given I had explored many other options before staying with that).
I'm happy to confirm the provided below warm words about the Owner, the good guy worth being appreciated as a free-of-charge great value added to the villa:)

I would separately stress that the villa enjoys the strategic position granting an easy access to all the attractions of the eastern Attica.

“Great stay!”

Wonderful stay, wonderful host and wonderful house! We had a great stay in Dimitris house in September. He was a great host and went above and beyond on many occasions during our stay to make it as pleasant as possible. Nothing was too much trouble for him and this made our stay pleasurable. I arrived first before my family and as I was arriving on my own Dimitris collected me from the airport and brought me directly to the house (at 4am!). The first day got off to a shaky start as there was a huge storm and because of this there was a power cut in the house. Dimitris arranged for an electrician to call to the house immediately to fix the issue. For the remainder of the week long stay the weather wasn't great and Dimitris was a more than perfect host, making sure we were okay for everything. We asked Dimitris could he arrange someone to cook some local cuisine for us and this was arranged with a beautiful meal, all laid out for us. It was great to sample beautiful Greek cuisine. This arrangement was privately organised with Dimitris but I would highly recommend anyone thinking of booking to speak to him directly about this. The house was beautiful, very clean with fresh towels and bed linen. 4 bedrooms downstairs - 1 double and 3 single, and a beautiful room indenpdent of the house upstairs with beautiful ocean views. As the weather was bad the outdoor furniture and cushions were wet, but Dimitris took note and dropped off fresh covers for them. The only drawback in the house is that there isn't a washing machine, so be prepared if you are travelling with children. The pool was very well maintained and suitable for children it has steps and a shallow end (but still a little deep for small children so bring swimming aids). Overall a very pleasant stay with a great host.

We booked to stay at this villa in August & from the moment of contact with owner we were overwhelmed with how kind he was in helping us. Dimitris booked cabs to meet us at the airport and greeted us at the villa at 4am in the morning and had even got us a few essential items from the shop!
The villa is beautiful and has everything your need,it is like a home from home. Bedding and towels are provided and the whole villa is very clean. The pool is maintained well and very clean too.The beach is literally on your doorstep and the shops are a short walk away.
The neighbour is very kind and friendly and also gave us grapes from his vine :)
We would 100% book this villa again it suited all ages in our party who were from 10 months old to 64 years old.

“magnificent villa and location”

The villa is in effect a main house, which is almost like a bungalow, and an annex upstairs, making it ideal for our group of couple, and another couple with teenagers.

The outdoor space was exceptionally well equipped with a comfortable seating area, a small breakfast table, then in the BBQ area under a well designed bamboo-type roof was a huge long wooden table to seat 8 comfortably and a BBQ and we think pizza oven ( although we didn't use that).

The pool was a good size and well kept, plenty of room for a group game of water volleyball but with a shallow end would also suit younger children.

There was space around the pool for sunbathing. Although upon the roof terrace was a huge space for sunbathing where with no breeze from the sea, we really felt the warmth of the sun.
Attached to the sun terrace is a double room with a sort of raised futon bed, and a large lounge, small kitchenette and on suite shower room. At the front of the room is a great balcony looking out over the sea.

In the main house there is 1 double room, 2 singles and a single with a pull out additional bed. These bedrooms are at the back of the house with a family bathroom. A door to this section makes it neatly sectioned from the rest or the house. The beds were comfortable and the rooms have loads of storage. The bathroom was a good size with a great shower.

The kitchen is really well equipped, the best we have experienced in a rental villa. The dining room we didn't use as we always ate outside. The lounge has large sofas, and a good TV and sound system.

The villa is secure with an electric gate and we felt very safe. There is a neighbour on one side and open space the other side making the villa feel very spaceous.

The sea is just the other side of the gate and is warm, we swam out to a little island just off the coast, and snorkeled seeing fish and other sea creatures. Just around the corner is a sandy beach with a bar; this was busy at the weekend but quiet during the week. You could swim to the beach or it is a one minute walk.

4 evenings we walked along the coast north and ate in Artemida, where there were lots of choices for cheap Greek holiday food, lots of seafood restaurants and some trendy surfbars serving cocktails, and bar food (huge meat platters to share!)

Having heard that driving in Athens is only for the brave, we drove to the metro station at Nomismatokopio with a huge underground and cheap carpark, and 8 stops later were in the heart of ancient Athens. This whole journey was smooth, stress free and took a little under an hour.

Artemida is a great location to easily get up the east coast or across to the west. Both of which we did.

We can't recommend this holiday enough, and we would stay here again.

The owner Dimitri was friendly and helpful, even meeting us at the airport to show us a route to avoid tolls.

Amazing location with very big pool and natural sea views. Sea is just some feet away although a bit rocky.
During the holiday all 6 of us felt very welcomed and as it was our own summer house.
We did the barbeque, partied till late while swimming in the pool with its amazing lighting under the Greek stars.
Kitchen, room, bathrooms were very very clean.
Bars, restaurants and clubs are 10 min driving away.
Friendly neighbours and the landlord is one of the friendliest guys I have ever met.
Highly recommended for family and for friends too.
This house has it all.
