Great atmosphere over Christmas, Bar Food or Restaurant in Conservatory. We have been for Sunday Lunch and Bar snacks. Traditional high quality pub food at very reasonable prices!! Guinness Pie, Shepherds Pie, Lasagne, Fish and Chips etc.
Highly recommended.

I am in a car club and we had our Christmas dinner here this year. There was about 38 people attending and a quite a number of us stayed over in this historic pub/hotel.At lunchtime we had a full 3 course meal served to us, it had several choices. It was served piping hot and was good value. Those who stayed over were served a varied menu for break fast, again good service and good food. The rooms in the Bulls Head are nice with all you need and on suite. They have cottages in the grounds and some of our members stayed in these again very nice accommodation. The views were breathtaking from our room looking over the country side for miles, just a few mile to visit Historic Bridgnorth and so many other lovely places to visit in this lovely part of England.

Room Tip: Our room was in the main building and overlooked the country side. Room faced the road and you could...

From what I can gather rooms are used mostly by fishermen, that might explain the smell. Musty and damp rooms, circa 1970's décor. Landlord was miserable, she never cracked a smile and was quite rude. You can't get near the bar for a drink due to locals hogging it and making a racket. Plus had the pate which was almost green and sloppy and am sure was the cause of my upset tummy that night.

Lovely pub in the pretty Shropshire countryside, nice atmosphere and a good steak. However room was overpriced in my view as it was a very small double, shower was not very efficient we had a room at the front of the hotel and were woken up by traffic whizzing past at about 5am.

We had a lovely weekend here and found the proprietors and their team extremely friendly and helpful. The meals were reasonably priced and the service excellent. We will certainly consider another weekend here if we are in the area.

Room Tip: We were in room 1 which was very spacious although some people may find it a little noisy from the b...
