Stayed on Folegandros at the Fata morgana for 9 days. An early high speed catamarran from Piraeus saw us arrive around 10:40am. The weather was lovely, hot but with a nice breeze. Met at the port and taken the short ride to the hotel. Room was not quiet ready, that was only because the ferry we arrived on was taking those home who had only vacated the room less than an hour earlier. A wander round the hotel, coffee and then room was ready. Room 3 I believe - really good size, very well decorated and with kitchenette, fridge balcony with glorious view. Small shower area with toilet.
Room cleaned daily, as was the whole hotel. Very smart all the time. Hotel itself was quiet when we were there no crowded pool...vews from pool area or sun deck or even the hammock were great. We only had a couple of drinks from the bar as we had our own fridge with all we wanted....and we cannot comment on the food as we always ate in the village.
overall a lovely place to stay. Folegandros is a really great island, not to large - we did a lot of walking to remote parts of the island and deserted beaches. There was a bus to the main beach with fast boat to take you to and from other beaches if you wanted.
Great stay ojn a lovely upmarket greek island!More
