Very good hotel with extremely helpful staff and there's also plenty to do for everyone here from bowling and cinema to bingo and plenty of restaurants plus a nice walk along the river bank, smiles all round

Arrived late afternoon fairly ok welcome not the usual warm one though maybe the young man had other things on his mind but he was competent enough
The rooms as usual were clean and comfortable although my wife found some dried vegetables on the floor
Our first night in Thyme the restaurant attached to the Inn was good and a very nice room Ben our server was chatty and efficient
The next morning I booked a table for five I requested a larger than normal table and for seven pm as we had a very disabled guest with us ,we were put right at the end of the room furthest from the door when there were plenty of tables just by the entrance
Worse was to follow after we had placed our orders that we were informed service would be a bit delayed as there was a large party in
Bear in mind we had a severely disabled man and a young teenager we finally complained after one and a half hours and were eating not far short of two hours from when we sat down
I would suggest you look at some of the other eating places all within walking distance
Our booking made at 8.30 in the morning should not have been taken if a big group was booked surely we gave plenty of time
Breakfast is first class all the staff are great and very welcoming Costa Coffee is the real thing ,one young lady Vicky I think was so nice you left feeling great
shame about the evening we ate elsewhere during the rest of our stay
Oh ! Forgot to mention we were offered free coffee for the delay of nearly two hours !!'
This Inn is busy and noise from the bridges above can be a nuisance and I hope the air conditioning can be set below 17c because you cannot open the window it's too noisy the traffic noise is non stop all night and all day
Mobile phone signals are not possible in ground floor rooms so you have to go outside and join the smokers not too nice that
Maybe I am an Oldie but this place needs a mature manager to sort out its short comings
All staff we came across were friendly and helpful and most important welcoming too
Shame about the thyme restaurant in the evenings there were quite a few upset people that night who probably like us went elsewhere to eat
Shame
I like Premier Inn

Hotel up yo usual premier inn standards however the restaurant I would rate as very poor.there are at least 4 other places to eat within this park everyone was and is better. Asked for rare steak got well done and I doubt it was anywhere near the 8oz as stated on the menu.....

This premier in has a really fresh feel to it. The staff out helpful and the breakfast is great. It is in easy reach of a places to eat and close to a great cinema. If I had one problem (which is not the hotels fault) it would be the noise that accumulates from McDonald's as I had a front room. I don't know about the rooms at the back.

We stayed for 7 nights here, as usual the room was spotlessly clean and well furnished. Noise was not a problem, as the double glazing is excellent. Staff were always helpful, friendly and courteous.
Would not recommend walking into the city though - very hilly, along main roads and about 3 miles.
Only criticism would be the lack of variety on the menu, if you don't want chips, there are not many other options, but this didn't bother us as we ate out most days.
We always stay in a Premier Inn now and have never had a bad one.

Having stayed at this hotel previously and stayed at the front of the hotel and had a great nights sleep. We decided to take the children for a birthday/mothers day weekend break as there are so many facilities there. We booked a family room which was situated on the ground floor to the rear of the hotel. Room was small compared to other hotel family rooms. I can honestly say I couldn't wait for morning to come to leave this hotel. With the trains going past every half hour all through the night and the air conditioning not working properly in the room, it was the worst nights sleep for all 4 of us.On checking out there was no-one at reception, I managed to find someone walking by to hand our cards into and when asked did we have a good nights sleep I informed them about our sleepless night. She told me she would pass it on. So much for your guaranteed good nights sleep! We will not be returning to this hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the front of the hotel

Extremely comfortable stay, staff were very professional and courteous, room very clean, nothing was too much trouble and it was hassle free checking in even with an extremely late check in, would definitely recommend!
