As you would expect the Premier Inn is clean and the staff very pleasant. Bathroom was very new and only a minimal amount of black mould. My room was at the back so minimal road noise. It is a great location with the cinema and choice of restaurants.

Real issue for me was no mobile signal in the hotel, this is consistent with all the other Premier Inns I've stayed in. So you either have to sit in the car park or pay for a premium rate call from the room. Not ideal for a lone female or for anyone who needs to keep in touch with family or work.

I was greeted by a very friendly member of staff and my check in was quick and easy once she showed me how to use the self service machine, atmosphere was warm and welcoming.
I was a bit nervous when i found my room number to be on ground floor, but must say i never heard a thing!! no doors being banged late, and considering the train line i slept like a baby and had a nice lay in with the decent blackout curtains. I will definatly be going again.

This was our first time away with parents in law and our 6 month old baby and it was brillant. Staff were welcoming even at 11.30pm ! The express check in was simply to use and checking out was even easier.
The family room we were in was spotlessly clean, had plenty of room for all of the baby's things including here travel system. Aircon was a really big bonus in the room to especially on the hot weekend we stayed.
The bathroom was bright, clean and nice touches of hand soap pump and shower gel pump (both full !)
One main item was the illuminated mirror with a electic plug below so that my wife was able to do her hair with ease. Because normally other hotels we've stayed in have a mirror in one place and the socket for the hair dryer in another nowhere near, which then results in fun and games trying to sort this out. But not with this room !
Already thinking about coming back for another weekend here in rochester

Room Tip: Book online for better room rates !

We stayed in this hotel for one night as we were late arriving in Rochester and were off early to Canterbury in the morning so didn't want to book anywhere particularly special or expensive. From the moment we arrived and were greeted by a very friendly receptionist we were impressed. We were aware that the hotel was new but it was imaculately clean and tidy. We were late arriving for dinner but the staff were polite and helpful and didn't seem to mind at all. We were really impressed with our room and would definitely stay again. We don't usually stay in Premier Inn hotels but this has completely changed our view and we will be trying these hotels again.

We have just enjoyed a three day stay at this newish Premier Inn. The hotel was spotless and a real credit to the cleaning staff. Breakfast & evening meals were very good. Although we had a room overlooking the railway, this was no inconvenience to us, since the trains did not run overnight.
The only minor problem , which appears to be the same in all the Premier Inns we have stayed in, is the lack of a fixed electric shaver socket. The reception had a supply of two pin adaptors, none of which we could get to work. We did however buy one whilst in Canterbury, so we are now equipped for future stays
Would not hesitate to visit again.

made very welcome when we arrived and talked thru the online check-in. rooms were comfy and well worth the £29 deal we paid. didn't bother with breakfast as it is next door to a macdonalds!

Room Tip: get top floor otherwise you can hear people in the room above
