I have stayed several times and found the accommodatio satisfactory - this comment is about the £9,95 "steak and guiness" pie. As now the norm this is a bowl with a flaky pastry top resting on it. The gravy was quite pleasant but the meat was poor quality not properly trimmed and rubbery. The waitress asked if all was alright and when I said not so she said so it was meat ! There is a very good butcher in the village who could provide decent meat which could be properly cooked to justify a £9.95 charge.
