We had the greatest service, food and relaxed family fun here on Xmas eve - I can't say enough positive words. Can not wait to visit again.

This was out first visit and we researched quite well and travelled almost two hours to get there. From walking in the door to leaving after an excellent and well priced meal we felt like regulars. The place is warm and very cosy and extremely friendly, it would be a dream of mine to be snowed in there.
We have another birthday coming up in March and look forward to returning. Great place.

Having lived in Georgeham for many years, we moved away to the Cotswolds 15 years ago. Having enjoyed many good nights in the bar with Alf and the house band all those years ago we decided to stay in Putsborough for a week. We arranged with friends from Braunton to join us for a meal after hearing good things about the Kings. We were not disappointed the food was excellent, service and staff were first class. We all had food from the specials board, my crab was really nice, our friends had the lamb and my wife the duck all enthused about the food.
We were so impressed with the atmosphere, staff and food we are going back tonight for another meal. We liked the Kings when we lived in Georgeham but must say the pub has improved so much that the Kings will be top of our list to visit the next time in the area.

We visited the Kings Arms on the off chance. It was cold and wet outside but really warm and welcoming inside. We had a great meal, washed down with a bottle of red wine, served at the perfect temperature. We would definitely recommend this pub/restaurant.

We visited the Kings Arms on a Saturday night in November. It was miserable weather outside but the pub itself was warm and welcoming with lovely decor and a relaxed atmosphere. they also welcome well behaved dogs. We enjoyed a good meal ... sadly the chef didn't pass the "blue steak" test, and it came out MW at first then rare -medium rare the second time, but the sauce was good and the veg nicely cooked. Will definitely go back but will choose something different.
