We called in here to "possibly" have lunch, we were greeted by a very friendly chap behind the bar. It was Sunday lunch time and fairly busy and the dishes passing us as we sat at the bar made our decison to stay for lunch. We had the roast beef.....now my wife cooks about the best Sunday roast any one can imagine so everything is only going to be second best or worse. The Kings Arm's roast beef was just about the best we have eaten out, it really was excellent, tender meat not overcooked as many are, fresh veg and all served by extremly polite and helpful staff. Other dishes going out around us looked equaly good. Living in Braunton the pub is only a hop and a skip away across the back roads, if this place continues with this quality it will become one of our regular jaunts with kids and friends for a long time to come.

we stayed in Putsborough for 7 evenings and ate here 3 of the nights. My husband had the crab linguini and enjoyed it so much that he nearly ordered another portion but then decided to leave room for the sticky toffee pudding. The mussels were tasty too. Without listing everything we had each night all I can say is that we tried something different each night and our children had either a beef burger or chicken burgers and loved them. Everything we ate was fresh, tasty and well prepared. Would recommend to all.

Had Sunday lunch here, food was lovely and the staff all very friendly and efficient. The pub has been refurbished recently i think and has a very groovy/countryside/modern feel to it which is very effective! Thank you, we will be back!!

Booked a table at the last minute and they squeezed us in which we were grateful for. Even allowed to bring our dogs. Food was excellent but service on the night a little slow. No worries as we weren't in a hurry.

Despite the wet weather and our wet weather gear, we were made very welcome for a lunchtime menu which was a good variety and better than many pubs. Friendly and efficient service, food very good and beer also good!
