The Kairi hotel is not what you would call a great looking place; it looks more like a large tin shed stuck up on a ranch house. One of the good things about this hotel is the friendly country style service. We turned up at about lunch time, and were greeted by the waitress/hostess who told us about the specials and what was good. Let me say this, the size of the meals you receive is huge for the price. I ordered a lamb roast (which was the roast of the day) and was astonished to see the quantity on offer. The other meals that the group ordered were mostly good except the fish which was threadfin salmon (dry at the best of times). If looking for a quiet out of the way place that serves good quality fare, at a decent price with a lot of old fashioned value for money, then you cannot go wrong at the Kairi hotel.
