I do not why we occasionally drop by this winery but I guess it must be the view. Again this past weekend we dropped by during the "Wrapped Up In The Valley" weekend and as usual left disappointed. I think the only place were the service continuous to be as cold as ever is the Ice Hotel outside Quebec City. It seems as though every time we visit the winery, the staff just do not know how to be friendly. Too bad though as the winery as one of the nicest views in the Niagara Peninsula.

We went to the winery at lunch time and decided to have lunch there.
They offer 3 platters to choose from, all different and approx $40.00/each. One platter feeds 2 adults.
My daughter and I are celiac and asked if they could accomodate us. The wait staff were wondeful. They suggested we pick 5 entrees from the 3 platters and they would make sure they were gluten free.
We shared lamb, pork tenderloin, 2 different salads and potato. My husband and son in law shared the East Coast platter consisting of a mushroom, garlic baguette, lobster cake, pork tenderloin, dill potato salad and salad.
3 flights of wine at $9.00 each ( 2 whites, 2 reds).
Awesome wait staff, went out of their way for our grand daughter. They brought her a fruit salad tray, no charge.
Once lunch was done, went into the winery and bought some wine. Wines are reasonable and very good.
One of our favourite wineries!

Definitely a place to stop. Some really great White Wines and some good wine accessories are available here. The property is very nice and the tasking bar has a good selection.

This is one of the nicest wineries in this region. Very nice views. We would like to do lunch on the patio, beautiful grounds. Not as big as some of the others, but it is very good, and holds its own against the competition. Give it a try, you will be disappointed.

What a lovely way to spend a Saturday afternoon! We recently stopped by the Angels Gate winery, while touring the Beamsville/Jordan/Niagara-on-the-Lake area. We were a bit peckish at that time and seeing that they had a little restaurant, decided to grab a bite while at the winery. Such a great decision! The tasting plates (the four of us shared the Quebec and East Coast plates) were fresh and delicious, adding all the more to the wonderful view sitting on the patio that overlooks the nearby hills and wineries. You can even see Lake Ontario (on a clear day). Definitely will stop by Angels Gate when in the area again.
