On arrival we were greeted with a warm welcome and asked if we would like some tea and cake,
the rooms were very spacious and were of a very high standard.Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. We went with friends and we all said we would return.Excellent hospitality and a good location.

Stayed for two nights for the New Year period 2014. In a nutshell it was the best B & B I have ever stayed in. Hospitality was excellent, Breakasts were tasty and plentiful and the accomodation was of an immaculate standard. I highly recommend staying here if you wish to stay in charming surroundings with charming people at a central base to visit all the local attractions around the York area. Much better value in terms of cost and facilities than hotels of a similar standard. You will not be disapointed. We will be visiting again soon.

Stayed just the one night in Primrose Lodge and it was just lovely. Hosts were very welcoming with tea and cake on arrival, lovely refurbished room and comfy bed. Breakfast was fresh, tasty and plentiful. Nice location not far from York. Would recommend this B&B without hesitation.
