We stayed here for a week our first visit to Ireland and we really enjoyed our stay. The house was warm on arrival, had everything we needed and was fairly easy to find with the directions given to us. What a view from the house we have three young children who absolutely loved it there so much so our daughter didn’t want to leave. A lovely corner of Ireland to relax and enjoy some family time together.
My family and I have just returned from Brinlack cottage. We stayed there for a week and we had a brilliant time despite the weather being wet and very windy. The cottage is so cosy and comfortable and very spacious. We loved the under floor heating . Our little son had a great time exploring the house he sad to be home. The house is location is great and close by the shops and a hotel/bar few mins drive. We would love to visit here again and would recommend to any family's that would like a quiet getaway break :) thankyou
My family and I really enjoyed our stay here! Couldn't recommend it enough! The house location is beautiful... Worth every penny! It's spacious, well equipped, and comfortable for all of us. Its location is close to local shop, hotel/restaurant/bar and sandy beach less than 10mins away. Will be keen to come back in the future!!
Once you find it, it is a little bit of heaven on the coast. Just remember 0.9 miles north of the pub/hotel (Teach Jacks)
Spacious well appointed house with 3 good size bedrooms and all equipment that you would need for a holiday stay, (we never did turn the TV on!!) Plenty of towels and bed-linen. As per all other reviews the sunset views are spectacular.
The area has a good range of activities and places of interest.
Highlight was a day trip to Tory Island on a beautiful sunny day.
A good range of shops, the local Supermarket (Gallagher's) very well stocked for a wide range of excellent goods.
Plan to return
National Geographic rated Donegal as the coolest place on the planet. They must have visited Brinlack! The area has outstanding beauty and the view as you leave the house, turn left, head for the former Foreland Heights go round the hill and over the brow of the road you will be met with maghaorty beach to the left and sweeping over to the right the mountains with Errigal in full majestic view! The house is immaculate (thanks Angela) and is well equipped. You won't regret booking this cottage.
Lovely, comfortable house with easily one of the most stunning viewpoints in Ireland.
The house comes with all mod cons-the underfloor heating was a gem in the middle of Winter !
Five minutes drive from Teac Jacks and the Post Office shop two minutes up the road.
Definitely on the come back to again list.
Tucked away off the road and part way down a hill, this little cottage at Brinlack, Co. Donegal sits waiting to show off to visitors its stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean and rugged coastline and is very close to Bloody Foreland. It is clean and cosy and invites you in to all its comforts. If you want to forget the stress and stain of everyday life, this is the place to be just lazing, and looking! Only down side is you won't want to leave - if only life could be like this every day. Quiet, Comfortable, Gas BBQ, Super Views no matter what the weather, Walks, Beaches, Big Fridge Freezer with Ice and Chilled Water on tap, Easy access to Great Supermarkets (try the scones!), Beach close by, Wood burner stove with ample supply of logs if required, Under floor heating, Comfy beds, the list goes on!
