This may well be the best Italian dining outside of Italy. The atmosphere was pleasant, with comfortable furnishings, nice decor and displays. Though large, the upstairs dining room was qiuet enough for easy conversation.
Every food item we tried was fabulous. Sliced tomatoes were perfectly ripe; the mozzarella was tender and moist; eggplant was exceptional. Our entrees were, likewise, enjoyable. Pasta with seafood offered clams, mussels, plentiful shrimp and a huge prawn. The parmesan penne was excellent, as well.
Service was friendly, albeit, a bit leisurely. We assume that might be due to individual preparation of their menu offerings. Visit Mangia e Bevi when you're not rushed. It's absolutely worth the time!
