“Farmhouse bed and breakfast at it`s best!”
Reviewed July 24, 2013

Wonderful modern and luxurious accommodation in the quietest , most peaceful spot. Perfect for a wind down. Slept like a log in the enormous bed and enjoyed the modern bathroom with endless hot water! Friendly host and great homecooked breakfast...options for evenings too! We ate a dinner on the terrace...table for two outside the dining room , and the next night a supper tray on our own private deck! Central spot for visiting National trust places, Dorset coast and beautiful Salisbury if you don`t mind a blissful drive through pretty countryside!
So many little things made this a special place to stay...a fridge in the room for the wine, a slice of cake to welcome us, beds made and room tidied each day, relaxed atmosphere, flowers in the room, plants and candles on the decking and even down to fluffy bathrobes!
Just two rooms, so you are assured of the personal touches!
So glad we found this little gem!

Room Tip: Downstairs room has bath and shower, and a lovely sunny private deck.

Unable to fault anything. Most relaxing weekend break made so by the faultless Tessa, nothing too much trouble. So quite at night you cannot not recharge your batteries. Location perfect for exploring the beautiful countryside and beaches. Must check diary for our return.

Room Tip: downstairs room has patio area to watch the sunset " with wine in hand "

Almost reluctant to share this unique experience but Tessa deserves all the kudos the other reviews have rightly bestowed. Unique house, unique location, unique accommodation, unique hosting and cullinary skills, what more can we say? Oh yes, 'we'll be back!'

Lovely weekend break, perfect for rest and relaxation. As all the other reviews have said, superb setting, ( perfect for visiting many beautiful villages, the coast and national trust properties) friendly host, (nothing was too much trouble for her) gorgeous food, lovely room (downstairs) with lots of extra little touches, especially liked the fact that we could come and go as we pleased the whole time, a real home from home atmosphere (albeit very luxurious!). We will be back!...... And we even managed to make the sun shine :-)

Room Tip: Downstairs room was lovely with own terrace and chairs, and also a bath plus shower. Upstairs room...

We just had the most relaxing two day break, very comfortable and clean room, which is very dark at night, zero light pollution. The food was excellent, both evening meals worth paying for. Breakfast was yummy especially the fresh eggs laid by the girls. Would recommend Glebe farm to anyone looking for a quiet, quality, away from it all break. Thank you Tessa.

Nothing of value to add to the other reviews except that places like this should be rated highly and publicly for the excellent standards they maintain and the wonderful welcome on arrival. Stay here and you won't be disappointed - or go hungry (the breakfasts are, well, big). On a clear day you can see from one side of the bed to the other.

This is a gem in the middle of rural Dorset, about 30 minutes south of Shaftesbury. There are two rooms available, both spacious and very comfortable with either a balcony or terrace overlooking the fields that form part of the farm. We were greeted with homemade scones and lots of practical advice about walks and pubs in the area. Tea and coffee making was more sophisticated than usual with filter coffee and a wide range of teas. Breakfast was delicious, including home made smoothies and preserves, as well as a good choice of cooked dishes. There are numerous walks in the area and it is the perfect setting for a quiet couple of days in beautiful English countryside. We could not have felt more welcome. Highly recommended.
