Would not recommend the food here at all. I ordered the chicken with creamy mushroom sauce and the chicken was really rubbery and overcooked, chips undercooked and the vegetables almost raw. They were very tight on the sauce as well.
My partner had 'homecooked' ravioli but said it tasted pre packaged, it didn't look very appetising.
Service was very slow and they pretty much ignored us when we sat down so I had to go to the bar and order the drinks myself after trying to get attention of staff several times.
Only nice thing is the beach side dining and view of the ocean...Unfortunately the atmosphere was ruined by a beach seller sat right outside playing his wooden frog for the duration of our meal.
There is a super Italian restaurant at the other end of the beach that serve delicious traditional Italian food so go there and dont bother with Basilico.
