“The perfect place to experience authentic Ireland!”

The accommodations were wonderful! Additionally, Phil the owner, went out of his way to ensure we were well taken care of during our visit! We highly recommend staying here.

“Perfect place for peace!”
Reviewed September 16, 2017 for a stay in September 2017

This sweet cottage is quintessential Ireland! It is tucked away from the beaten path but very close to the coast and the charming town of Doolin and the Cliff's of Moher. The owner's provided attention to all details including a written history of the cottage, information about local restaurants and bread, butter, fruit and tea! Although the bedroom and bathroom are small, the rooms are comfortable and the yard is lovely. Of all the places we visited in Ireland, this is the one I'd return to. Fire place, fresh air, antiques! Beautiful!

“Beautiful Cottage, Peaceful Location”

If you are looking for peace and quiet, beautiful views of the hills and coast and a comfortable, well-appointed hideaway this is for you. The cottage is up in the hills, 10 minute's drive from the lovely towns of Lahinch, Doolin and Lisdoonvana. From the garden there are views down to the sea, and the sound of birdsong. The cottage is immaculate, there is lots of information about the area, and Phil (the owner) is always happy to provide advice. Enjoy!

“The perfect Irish getaway”
Reviewed October 11, 2016 for a stay in September 2016

In a land of modern bungalows it was a real treat to find that the Stonecutters cottage had character and history as well as all mod cons. It was a cosy bolthole in a lovely part of the world that was hard to leave in the mornings and a joy to return to in the evenings.

“A great place to stay!”

We had the pleasure of spending a week here recently and can say we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage itself is beautiful, full of old world charm with the comforts of a modern home. The cottage is ideally located in a quiet area a stone's throw from the surrounding towns. We were sad to leave but will be sure to return!
