Claudia was extremely helpful when I stopped in with a ferry question and even set us up with a competing ferry line out of Galway as it fit our schedule better. She handled three customers at once in two different languages!

Hi Mark

Thank you for taking the time to post a review. Claudia is a great help to our German friends ;) We do our best to help visitors see as much of Ireland as they can during their visit. We might see you back in Doolin to try our service next time :)

All the best

“Amazing again. Inis Oirr and Cliffs Trip”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 13, 2013

This was our 3rd trip using Dooin2Aran Ferries. We were early for our cruise and the guy at the ticket office bought us tea and chatted to us while we waited. It was a lovely sunny day. And as before we were not disappointed. The cliffs trip was beautiful and we took many photographs. One of the crew told us a lot about the cliffs and birds that frequent the area and we learned even more than we had before. The island is out of this world. After our walk of some of the island, my husband went with the kids to the castle ruins while i enjoyed the fantastic beach. I lost my ticket for the return leg of the journey, but the crew recognised us and it was no trouble. overall , the trip from beginning to end was fabulous and I look forward to visiting again in July/August time. Many Thanks to all :)

Hello there,

Delighted to hear you had a great trip! Inis Oirr is ideal for children - and the young at heart :) Looking forward to seeing you later in the summer, here's hoping this great weather continues.

“Trip of a lifetime”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 3, 2013

My wife and I were directed by the owners of Harbour View B&B to the Doolin 2 Aran Ferries. WE were directed to take the shorter trip to the closest Island, Inisheer. This was a fantastic choice. The wait to board the Happy Hooker boat took only a few minutes. We toured Eastern Island for 4 to 5 hours. This was a fantastic boat ride. There was ample room for dozens of people and the weight of the boat smoothed out the waves.
We were advised to purchase the combination ticket to view the Cliffs of Moher. The scenery was beautiful and the ride was one to remember. The crew stopped and turned the boat so everyone with a camera could take pictures of a lifetime. When you tour the Islands, I recommend the side trip to the Cliffs.

Hello Jerre

Thank you for your lovely review. We are delighted you enjoyed your trip to the "Eastern Island" which is what Inis Oirr means - Inis Meain means "Middle Island" and Inis Mor means "Big Island". The combination trip to see the Cliffs of Moher on the way back from Inis Oirr is our most popular choice and you are right to recommend it, it is a great way to finish a day on the sea!

Kind regards

“Inis Oirr & Cliffs of Moher”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 31, 2013

We did the Inis Oirr and Cliffs of combo which was very nice.. The island was beautiful, we checked out the castle (great view of the entire island), wandered around and then had lunch near the pier. The boat ride to the cliffs of Moher was choppy and some people felt sea sick. Views were good, though I felt they were better from the top of the cliffs vs the boat. I'd definitely recommend this company, always call ahead given the weather to make sure things are running/ on time.

Hi Kevin

I am glad you enjoyed Inis Oirr, there is a lot to see for such a little island :) It was a pity the weather turned on you for the Cliffs cruise part of your trip. I agree the view from the top of the Cliffs is spectacular and it is a terrific visitors centre with plenty of information. The view from the sea offers a different and some say better perspective, but it is great to see it from both sides!

Thank you for taking the time to write a review for us.

Kind regards

“Donie is great!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 30, 2013

Thanks to the suggestion from our hotel (Vaughan Lodge) - we found out about the boats to the Aran Islands. They suggested we call Donie and i'm so glad that we did! Donie planned out everything for us exactly how we wanted. As we waited for the boat to arrive, we saw the dolphin!!! Donie knew we would! Then he suggested we also take the boat to the Cliffs of Moher which we didn't even know was possible. Both trips (to Aran islands and the Cliffs) were phenomenal and we thank Donie for the suggestions.

Thanks again for a wonderful trip!
