A group of us stayed New Year's Eve at this hotel. No problem checking in at about 1:30, rooms were ready. We walked from the cliffs of moher to doolin and the mulled wine in reception was lovely and warming after the walk. We ate in the bar and the food and service was excellent. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was fine with nice Voya products. Upon checkout we got presented with a lovely New Years present of chocolates. Will certainly be back

Dear Ger H

Thank you for your recent review of our Hotel. I am very pleased that you enjoyed an 'excellent New Year break.' The new Doolin Cliff Walk, now a feature on the Wild Atlantic Way is breathtaking, it is nice that you enjoyed mulled wine to warm you up on arrival in Hotel Doolin.

We stayed with friends for one night. The front desk receptionist was very friendly. They had hot mulled juice and mince pies out. Very modern looking lobby and sitting area. Our room was spotless and spacious. Didn't have any problem sleeping at night time, very comfortable bed and well heated. Breakfast in the morning was large, fresh and delicious. Overall a very good stay!

We recently stayed at the Hotel Doolin for one night on a visit to the Cliffs of Moher. The stay was very satisfactory and the hotel staff was wonderful. They have a great breakfast included with the stay and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend this hotel.

I brought my staff here for their annual Christmas party in early December. The hotel is in the stunning surroundings of Doolin on the Atlantic coast. The hotel itself you will fall in love with on arrival with its warm and welcoming boutique feel with lovely alcoves and areas. It is designed as a streetscape which really adds to the homely atmosphere.
This was the best outing we have had with all staff commenting on how yummy the meal was and how welcoming the staff were. We rounded off our night in their cosy bar, Fitzgeralds, which incidentally serves it's own craft beer! The rooms are really well appointed and the breakfast was just fantastic.
Thank you to Donal and his team for a such a memorable night. We have all vowed to return soon!

Stayed here when it opened a few years ago and we enjoyed our visit a lot, we were a bit worried about returning as we thought the hotel might have gone downhill since, but we were pleased it was exactly how we remembered. There was a lovely open fire in the reception and mulled wine on arrival. The rooms are nice and modern but the TV reception wasn't great. If I had any complaint it would be that there was 2 hen parties there on the weekend we were there and we were woken up a few times by them.

This is a lovely boutique hotel. The staff were welcoming and helpful throughout the hotel, restaurant and bar which are all linked under the one roof. There were very nice touches, such as mince pies and mulled punch left out for guests in reception, cupcakes left out in the bedroom upon arrival, bathrobes (though the slippers were missing), Egyptian cotton bed-sheets, luxurious handwash/bodywash/shampoo&conditioner in the ensuite) and delicious homemade brown bread was offered to us to take home when checking out. Our only complaint was that the hotel was cold. Heating had been turned on and efforts to heat the building had been made, but still it was cold in the reception area and long the corridors at all times and in the bedroom at times also. We told the receptionist on duty twice and she was apologetic and understanding. When leaving, we did ask if a manager was on duty, but there wasn't. All in all, it was a really lovely hotel and we had a great time but considering Doolin's location right on the Atlantic coast during a bitterly cold spell in late December, more efforts to heat the building, a four star hotel, should have been made.

My husband and I stayed in Hotel Doolin while celebrating our 1st year wedding anniversary combined with our holidays! I had mentioned while booking the hotel that we would be celebrating our anniversary and they upgraded us to the Honeymoon sweet and also left 2 cupcakes for us to enjoy which was extremely kind and generous of them!

The rooms were modern, stylish, clean and comfortable! The food was fab (specially the steak dinner we had one of the nights in the pub, best I've tasted for a long time)! Staff were very kind and welcoming! Pubs were quiet but that was expected at that time of year! Will definitely visit again!
